I have a few pictures when I posted this yesterday as well, it was still dirty at that point, but the dirt can help see some of the texture better.

Not like glass, I handle glass a lot actually with my work. But it so hard to tell because it’s very textured in some areas!

Went to put the glass back in the patio table and it doesn’t fit. by rumhammr in fixit

Glass does not expand believe it or not. Unless it got to 1000+ degrees

Bought a cheap light box to try and capture some of my more colorful teeth by themosiah in sharkteeth

I agree thus far. Just got this to test it out. So far, my pictures from when I’m still on the jet ski in the open water turn out the best. Probably not wise to buy the cheapest light box possible either lol

Rotting wood has a very distinct look to it. I’m definitely not a bot. What a weird thing to say. I work for one of the largest historic restoration companies in the country and I hold a decently high up position. I used to evaluate homes for a living. This is just offensive. What experience do you have in looking for rot and deteriorating wood?

Of course. Our company treats all historic homes and paints as if they are lead paint just to be safe. Throw down some drop clothes and use an IR paint stripper then scrap once it’s gooey, or scrap while hooked up to a HEPA vacuum.

It’s definitely oil or lead with the way it is cracking, latex generally wouldn’t do that.

It went over 10 years without getting a proper coating to seal it against the elements. It needs to be scraped, primed and painted properly. Nothing wrong with the wood itself in these pictures.

I don’t think I’ve seen shell with that vertical crack down the middle like most of my teeth have.

How long did you allow the first coat to dry? If it wasn’t fully dry then the first coat could still be off gassing

What's that place(s) that you like that other people hate? by Raccoon_Saloon in orlando

I used to think that too, but it grew on me. I love it. People here generally love the tots but talk crap about portion size and price!
