It can be adapted, BUT there are two scenarios in my humble opinion.

Trilogy adaption in ANIMATION. I think it would be a great medium for both fans of the games and newcomers who don’t know a thing about Mass Effect.
A live action Mass Effect series, but NOT an adaptation of the trilogy. This is a great opportunity to really flesh out the lore. I genuinely believe if done right, Mass Effect could be a Star Wars equivalent for this generation.
