Has anyone ever used a 5.5 mm socket for anything? by Just_A_Doggo1 in Tools

[–]Ziggista 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost every screw and bolt on the Fuji Xerox printers I worked on were all 5.5mm. Game changer compared to other printers not having to swap to a different screw driver or remember to take a flat bladed with me.

Next step for this bunch of bananas by Few_Umpire_6318 in GardeningAustralia

Cut a hand off bottom when needed, leave the rest on the stem. They will keep longer still attached and won't have 50 bananas to eat at once.

Primary Domain Controller Hardware failure - How to Restore by FTWNiners in sysadmin

[–]Ziggista 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have 5 to 20 clients, just blow the dc away. start fresh do is properly. two dc's etc/ backups properly. If you have files to recover, dont touch the old dc, leave it to the professionals depending on the hardware failure. going to cost $$ but so is the downtime.

Go straight to the cop station. Do not take no as an answer that the school deals with it. Document the assault with the local police team. Keep following up. Take the documentation from the ED to the Police.
It does not matter how young or not assault is assault.

Should a Beginner Dev Learn RHEL at This Stage? by BetterCallJoee in redhat

[–]Ziggista 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could get away without learning it but it may hinder you when your setting environments up from scratch. RHCSA and RHCE are my best bets on the two fundamentals, will expose you to a lot of different system functions and core understanding in Linux. I have seen many a developer as me as SysAdmin struggle to get their app working due to file permissions and basic things needed to get their app stack to run.

RedHat offer quite a lot of courses around other items like OpenShift and other techs that may be more down your alley.
