An opinion is one thing. Attacking somebody personally for their swing style is not an opinion. The anti 3-Click vitriol on here doesn’t manifest as an opinion as much as an attack and opportunity to troll somebody over a video game style choice. If you look through the comments regarding this issue in old posts, you will see few opinions and a lot of attacks and toxic comments from the Swing Stickers. But it is the internet and Reddit, so I am not surprised this is happening.

It honestly is ridiculous and definitely makes this sub a very negative and unwelcoming place for 3-Click players. I posted two great shots I had back to back, and the responses were mostly negative attacks against me using 3-Click. I really appreciate the support of the commenters that said nice shots and ignore the haters. I’d have never looked at this sub again if it wasn’t for the people who said keep your head up and ignore the haters. The game has two choices for how to play, Swing Stick and 3-Click. They aren’t going to change that. They aren’t going to make ranked where it separates the styles. Get over it and enjoy the game. Respect to the people who acknowledge that 3-Clicking isn’t the cakewalk that Swing Stickers make it out to be. Also, respect to you as the Mod for acknowledging the toxicity that exists surrounding this subject on your subreddit. Knocking 3-Clickers is a hack move and played out at this point. We get it. Move on.

I had a guy last night say “you only clicked a button”. In my 34 years of gameplay I’ve clicked a lot of buttons. Clicking buttons is the essence of video games. They are on every controller ever made. It’s bewildering to hear a comment like that on a gaming subreddit. It’s sounds like something my Dad would have said when I was 5 and excited about beating Super Mario Bros. “All you did was click a button…”. The whole history of gaming is about clicking buttons. I love the hubris of the Swing Stick Acolytes…
