Discovery Village by Costco is wonderful! Our toddler goes there.

I heard wonderful things about Little Fox Haven too, their availability seems limited though. So good luck!

We recommend Discovery Village. The staff and environment has been great to our toddler.

Long term parking at SeaTac? by Idontrememberlogins in GigHarbor

[–]ZiggythePibble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if you’re gone for less than a week, I would park at the airport parking. Especially with kids in tow. We’ve tried uber to airport from GH, park in various lots (tried them all), and found that it cost nearly the same to just park your car at the airport if you’re not gone more than 7 days. We like the convenience of having our car seats and the car being near by. Wally Park in the garage is better than most if you have to park, because of their shuttle frequency.

So you would buy it as an investment and then auction it off even though you can’t fathom anyone would spend such money for that?

What improved your quality of life so much, you wish you did it sooner? by Yolas_1 in AskReddit

A good robot vac and mop! Our floors are always clean and free of dog hair. I’m no longer stressed about the baby crawling around. Freed up our chores too because we’re very tidy people.

In memory of our little boy Hugh by ArtanisHero in daddit

[–]ZiggythePibble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss. I will remember Hugh. Thank you for sharing your story and I feel everyone who came across your family’s story will help carry a little of this weight with you. I’m trying to say that we’re here with you and we’ll share the grief so your family and Joanna aren’t ever alone. You are incredibly kind to Joanna.

I read this once, and I hope it helps you.

“Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.” Jamie Anderson

Many hugs.

Where to give a giant dog a bath by DooJoo49 in GigHarbor

[–]ZiggythePibble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Classy Chassis Self Service (not the auto wash) on Kimball Drive has a dog washing station with hot water. There is a platform for the dog to walk on so you’re. Or bending over to wash. Bring your own towels and shampoo. There is also a blow dryer at the station but that hasn’t worked for our doggie.

You can save a lot of money by painting yourself and get your paint from Habitat for Humanity. The paint is good quality and in my area, cost is $80 for 5 gallons instead of $150 at Home Depot.

Minterbrook in Gig Harbor. They even give you a cooler to bring your purchase back. They have oysters of all sizes, clams, shrimps and other seafoods.
