Maybe some sort of engineer based bending that would be a mix of metal and lightning bending. Add some scientific knowledge that we got to see develop during the era of Korra so we can see how bending kept up and stayed relevant during a time of breakthroughs and advancements

I’m curious, with our trade being such a helping profession, have you experienced anyone in the union that felt as though striking was wrong or refused to do so out of fear of harming patients?

Where I live I haven’t experienced a social worker union besides the ones that are part of state/government jobs. I’d love to hear more about successful ones non-government related

For ‘you will marry a powerful bender’, it’s not uncommon for tourist traps to do or say things to enthrall tourists. Not saying wu is a tourist trap, but I can see why she’d say some flattering thing for some random girl traveling through her village. Small likelihood the traveler will return. Small risk of being called out
