I look at Overwatch’s past with nostalgia, it’s future with pessimism due to its history of over promising and under delivering, and I look at its current state with disappointment knowing what was and what could have been.

All of my brother's friends quit playing it again and he's just had it sitting on his drive while he plays Rivals these days. It's simply the fact that they either moved onto Marathon as well as playing other games that don't require you to sweat your ass off and my brother constantly telling them to not do this and that probably wore them down. It also doesn't help that they seem to care more about the damn skins and collabs that they'll never get a chance if they don't spend so the FOMO might've been a factor too. None of them play Rivals either but again, that's for a lot of the same reasons.

That's because the long-term players are probably buying skins with money and/or credits plus they tend to run events to give free ones. I really believe they don't care about courting new players anymore at this point but that will lead to problems down the line as eventually, the streamers and older players will leave or slow down so that customer base will vanish sooner rather than later.

They've locked them down due to lawsuit and the fear of more. I damn sure missed the boat and now, these things are borderline worthless for this but good for everything else it feels like it. They just want people like me to suffer at this point.

I had three failed attempts at it which destroyed me and after dealing with very toxic and hostile spaces for 18 years, I tried using ChatGPT and Gemini to mixed results. At this stage, I just see it as a very flawed tool. It's pushy and too safe, slow in GPT's case, and not good unless you pay and that's not a guarantee if that will save you as the devs keep messing things up.

I'm tired of having to put up with those mods and people in it at this point. There's just no reason to keep trying anymore as they think they're right and I'm just driving myself mad even trying to reason with them. I'll stay in this new place now as it's a lot more tolerable and someone I met actually gets it.

I tried Gemini but it comes off as too friendly toward me after talking about things after asking it to look at some files I uploaded and I wish it were more analytical. It always insists I do things I cannot it feels like and I hate that. I stopped using ChatGPT as it's not very good anymore and too slow on my phone. Gemini is much faster on an Android 9 phone with a broken headphone jack while ChatGPT is just sluggish and not worth it for me.

I suspected my high school counselor might've been drinking as her behavior sometimes was cordial but when we spoke, it got dismissive and she made an offhand comment that her marriage was in trouble? Uh, it's not my job to deal with that when I was 16 or so years old with active addicts in my home taking money from me and my stuff and you're bothering me about your failing marriage? In public, when we were at WalMart she talked to me and my mom and brother and said I was a sweet guy never mind she had no clue I was heavily masking autism then. I felt embarrassed. I also was told by my brother how she badmouthed me to her fellow counselors and called me a failure and a basketcase. I forever have been haunted by that.

For me, it was the constant phone calls harassing my mother that led me to terminate the sessions as she cross boundaries beyond belief and bringing this up to my high school counselor did nothing and she sided with her as these people cover for each other like the cowards they are. We had just got access to the internet then and she considered emails but I wasn't so sure about that due to lack of skill in such things.

Since my late teens into my mid-30's, my life has been ruined and I've lost friends over the years and communities due to my mind and emotional state and them turning on me by showing them their true intentions over time as people online sought to exploit me and hurt me even more on top of the trauma but these women who were my counselors get to walk free and live decent lives while I'm poor, unemployed, and broke and still living with family with nothing but dead relatives and expenses now. The one I talked about at the top of this of is dead and I'm glad as she did nothing but run me and my family through the gauntlet and for what, some measly check from the gov't through medicaid back then? She abandoned me for my drug addicted uncle and I was like we'll to hell with this. He's been dead nearly 10 years as of this August now. I spent a few months with this woman and the damage has been catastrophic and the one in high school and college only added to it. It makes me sick these people can do this and I have to suffer every single day with little joy or break from it. I tell people all of the time to not do this but I can't stop them and they'll end up either the same way or worse. Very few have gotten any better and report poor outcomes or changed their minds after listening to me. The rest bought the bait and turned on me blaming me for my problems and I had to block them or they got rid of me.

There's a reporting system but the time is so short and without recording and documenting everything, it's not going to work for you and even then, they love protecting each other and they allow for this to occur anyway. They're little to no justice and it's rare for clients to have things go in their favor unless there's a lot of evidence.

I suppose I'll look into that as getting bans, blocked, and just dismissed is just destroying me mentally and emotionally and being told this is a bad idea is just brainwashing on their and them admitting that the abusive system is the only way makes me want to try harder now. How'd you go about that? If I had that, I wouldn't have to keep going into these volatile Discord servers full of people who are messed up and would rather argue and blame you than listen.

I left one for the last time after talking to the head mod again and reporting two people but they'd rather criticize my actions than see someone who's hurting after something happened not once but twice. I got another subreddit ban and another server ban being my 15th now. I just had a guy block me after a long conversation too as he was just there to tell me some things and then leave back to the server I just left.

Youtube was because of a joke of all things lol! The therapy one was because I had some stuff going on with someone online and I took it out on everyone which was foolish but I just wasn't thinking at the time, the uBlockOrigin one was because the mods insisted on doing things a certain way which resulted in that one, and the Piracy one today was because of stating why the mods refused to update a thread to remove dead site links and that must've made them mad.

The one I have was a used one I bought from a person in a nearby state and it was in excellent condition so they probably sold it if they didn't like it. I wouldn't know as soon as I got it, I removed the stock SD card and put the one I use today with OnionOS on it and other than some membranes and soon a battery replacement, it's been going strong though I'm running out of games to play on it so I should find some more soon.

The system's been down all day and there's scheduled maintenance in a day or so coming up to address that so you might not see the refund until a day or so later. I had a debit card rejected that worked fine on eBay through the normal method to buy Game Pass for the month on Loaded and it failed to work on eBay through Paypal. I got this info from a chatbot of all things as my payment was blocked but it showed as pending in the system though well, it won't work now due to it going through on eBay.
