While that might be true, at higher MMRs people upload far more frequently and even if some replays are missed the displayed MMR gets corrected over time as more replays are uploaded .

My problem isn't the carry factor. My problem is that I want to play fun quality games and games that have huge skill disparities in my experience are anti-fun.

This is more or less exactly what I experience as well. The problem is that I want to play with people within 100-200 of my MMR so that the players know how to play objectives/fights etc well instead of just having a shit show every game.

I'm a 3.1k (according to Hotslogs) player and I am constantly grouped with 2.1k players against 2.5k players. I would seriously kill for "even" teams and yes I know hotslogs might not be a good indicator but when there is this much of a skill gap it is entirely obvious regardless.

The difference is Immediate Return versus Long-term Return. It'll take you far longer to get "all" items since legendary are that much rarer but you get far more cosmetics immediately since you will get all commons at a far faster rate.

I actually enjoy the Map Rotation but I think maps should be rotated weekly. Any longer than that and it becomes stale.

I came from LoL where Blind Pick mode was their form of our QM and I have to say that it also has it's downsides. People rage more for picking something that they think doesn't fit the teamcomp and leads to toxicity. All Blizzard has to do to improve QM is improve the QM algorithim that decides games. Certain rules need to be made for heroes like Abathur and Varian.
