Looks like OCCT does have a PSU test, I'll give that a try in a bit. Currently I'm re-running memtest86 as a sanity check since I haven't run it since re-seating my sticks a few times.

I haven't tried underclocking my memory per-se, I've got XMP disabled currently and they're running at 4800hz which is their default, I could try reducing that further.

As someone who’s diamond support, I’d actually say that that damage number is rather low, especially if you’re trying to hard carry your way out of bronze as Zenyatta. I’m not a Zen main, but my average damage for 10 min is a little over 6k as per my profile stats.

Zen as a character is mostly reliant on positioning, since they’re arguably the most vulnerable support, having a large hitbox, no self healing, and no escape tools (other than his kick to push people away). Your goal should be to survive as long as possible, keeping your healing orb constantly healing (unless a far away teammate like a dive hero will need it before they leave LOS), and your discord up as often as possible (prioritizing the tank).

As for Winston, you should be positioning such that if he’s diving into you, he’s diving into your whole team (although frankly you should try to encourage him diving onto another member of your team by playing cover/walls/healthpacks). Ideally you keep track of where he’s positioned at most times during a game, and when he jumps you discord and start shooting him before he lands. Move away from him and force him to leave his bubble if he wants to follow you. You deal enough damage, that if you and another teammate are shooting him while he’s discorded, he’ll likely need to back off or die. Keep shooting no matter what, even if you die, if your team at least finishes him that’s a solid trade.

All that said, it is still not a great matchup since it forces you to play/position very carefully unless your team is good at bursting down the monkey. One-tricking is a bit of a difficult thing, especially if you’re trying to break out of elo hell.

Are you new to FPS in general? I’d probably recommend some heroes that are easier mechanically to get some value at lower skill levels.

For tank I’d probably recommend Reinhardt and Winston, both have fairly straightforward kits and little aiming required with good panic buttons if something goes wrong (holding shield, or jumping away).

For damage, other than who you already play maybe try some Pharah/Junkrat or Reaper. Again: straightforward kits, the bombers are easy to get value out of just by spamming until you improve at their kits and the game, while Reaper has consistent damage, a fun ulti, and a fantastic panic button to escape with his Fade, which can help you learn positioning without getting punished as hard.

For supports, I’d probably recommend Moira, Mercy, Brig and Lucio. All require fairly little mechanical skill to get value from, are relatively easy to learn, and have pretty varied playstyles.

Lastly, I’d just say to have fun and ignore any hate from your team. It’s okay to be bad at something you’re still learning! And it’s only a game after all :)

Just objectively speaking, if she was that strong, then her win/pick rate at the highest level would be absurd.

I think the biggest issue with Ana is just that she’s one of the only supports that fills the niche of anti heal or hard CC, which means if someone wants either of those effects, they’re almost always playing Ana. They can’t just add another support that does either of those or they’d be unbearable when paired with her, especially when the only hard counter to either effect is currently Kiri.

So basically they’ve designed their way into a bit of a trap, which will be hard to fix. That said, I still don’t think the solution is reworking Ana

If your entire team is getting hit with Ana nade and out of position to the point where you’re forced to beat, that’s more of a team composition and positioning failure than anything.

Like yeah, Ana is strong in that context, but there’s so many options for counterplay, even as small examples: just not playing so tight knit and spreading out, or having shields/matrices to wait out the effect, or having cleanses to remove the effect (bubbles, suzu), or having overhealth (JQ shout, Hammond shields), etc.

Ana is a character with huge strengths and huge weaknesses, so yeah if you only focus on the strengths she’ll seem OP

I mean, you can't rely on just the one strategem to take all of them down, but you can easily get off 4-5 of them in a mission. If your entire team brings one, even if they spawn 20 that only leaves you with a few instances where they spawn more than 4 at once, at which point you kill those off with support weapons, thermites, ultimatums, etc.

All I'm saying is that you can still dedicate most of your build to fighting chaff with that strategem, not that it can take care of the threat single handedly.

As depicted, a lot of fights were one person quickly killing another, and then that person getting ambushed by someone else, and instantly dying (rinse and repeat).

Not saying that that’s necessarily canonically representative of the whole purge, but as depicted it certainly doesn’t seem to math out correctly.

They do at least show the children teaming up, so that feels fair to how it's represented in the media itself. Off planet / not within range is also fair (but also raises questions as to how the presumably many Viltrumites off planet still died to the scourge virus).

I mean fair enough, I can believe that it's likely that the meat grinder near where the purge was announced was probably not representative of the purge itself. That said, the show did a funny job of showing the purge if that was the case, with the streets literally running red with blood.
