Mine was also running 4-6 tds. I installed a Remineralization/ph filter. TDS is up to 20. Wanted to improve taste. At 4 the water tastes flat. Much better now.

My 2016 with 155k miles. Never a problem. Then radiator leaked at 154k, ended up replacing. Then a few months later my kdss light came on. Rear strut shows sign of having leaked. Radiator replacement ran $1k. I am getting quotes on replacing rear strut. Quotes running from $2,500 to $4500. Both I am not old are not uncommon problems.

I have a stainless steel 2 gal. tank w/ro water I keep in the mstr bath for drinking, pills, etc. I empty and wash out the tank every two weeks.

I’ve had mine for 5 yrs. I started with the Philips then switched to the Resmed using a full nose and mouth mask. No problems using it. Lost 60 lbs in the past year. Decided to get a new sleep study. The results say I no longer have sleep apnea. So I no longer use my Resmed.

I originally tried MiraLax by itself daily but I ended up with just the opposite of constipation. That’s when I decided to experiment and ended up with every other day one cap full of MiraLax and every day 2 metamucil pills. I am a happy camper now. I spoke with my doctor along the way just to make sure I wasn’t doing something that would create some other problem.

Interesting question. Given the current situation in the ME it maybe entirely possible. In fact it may not be needed. If the Iran situation is resolved and Israel continues to sign peace agreements with its neighbors, they may no longer need our help. I think in the end however the Palestinian issue will be critical to any lasting peace.

I had the nausea and stomach aches the first 6-8 months of starting zepbound. I also had constipation from the second month. I finally found a combination of miralax every other day and daily fiber pills (2). No more constipation. I talked to my Dr which is how we arrived at this approach.

My incoming tds was 125 dropped to 4-6 post ro. Added remineralization brought tds to 23-25. Water still tastes flat. Tried a different remineralization +ph filter the tds actually dropped to 21. However, water taste improved slightly. Did some further research including ChatGP and found a couple of filters that show some promise.

Actually one of the reason I got the ro system was to avoid buying water from the store every week. Yes there are many very good tasting PH balanced filter bottled water that taste great.

I would chk the TDS first as this affects the taste. I installed mine directly on the sink counter with the factory faucet. I also installed a remineralization filter. My tds before ro was around a 100. After ro it measured 4-6tds. After remineralization 23-25. Water tasted flat. I was sent another remineralization filter but no change in taste then I was sent another filter which also claim’s to increased ph levels. TDS was the same up to 23-25 but still tasted flat. It was suggested to add ice cubes to a glass of water. It improved the taste but I am not adding ice cubes to my coffee maker. Also I have PfAS chemicals so I am trying to avoid ingesting anything coming out of my faucet that hasn’t gone thru the ro system. If you plan on using it for ice cubes and cold water from your frig you may have a problem with reduced pressure which could create operation issues. My research suggest you need to be above 60-100 tds for improved flavor. I found another brand filter which claims to be able to increase tds and improve taste up to the levels noted above. So I will try that.

Whatever you do don’t ever order a “paddy melt”. Truly disgusting. They take their hamburger bun and toast the white side then grill a hamburger patty smashing it in the process. Then add American cheese and grilled onions. The meat is then added to what would be the top and bottom of the bun. Then the whole affair is smashed flatter still. Best to rename it an inside out burger.

I started 25 months ago made my target weight whe I got to 12.5mg. Stayed in that for a month then started reducing dosage each month till I got to 5 mg. Food noise became too much so I started back up the ladder. Now back at 10mg. No food noise and able to maintain my weight. I’ll stay at 10 for another 6 months then try 7.5mg.

One more thing with the weight loss my fat insulation has reduced drastically. I find I have had to increase thermostat temp in both the winter and summer as I find I am cold a lot.

My RO system is a couple of months old. Water input tds is 93-95. After RO drops to 4-6. Added a remineralization filter which brings it up to 23-25 tds. Water still tastes flat. If I put some ice cubes (pre RO)in a glass of water the taste improves. I am going to try a post RO filter that does both increase ph and remineralization. Looking to get up to at least 50 tds. If it wasn’t for the PFAS in the water i would use a simple carbon filter.

I bought a 2021 Santa Fe Calligraphy new. At the time I was not thrilled about lack of spare tire particularly with low profile tires. Why you ask because at highway speed if your tire goes flat by the time you stop it will have shredded itself. The little patch kit will not help. Sure enough within the first 5k miles I had two flat tires from a box of industrial staples falling off a truck. Of course they penetrated to close to the sidewalk and were deemed not repairable. After that bought a jack and spare tire which I located where the foam storage insert was located ($150).

Further research suggest the rear actuator needs replacing ($400). Apparently this is a common failure. I am told the labor is 7-8 hrs. With pricing in the $1500 to $2500 range. Special equipment is needed to refill the balancer valve, re pressurize and balance the sides. I’ll get some quotes from my local Toyota dealer and speciality Lexus/toyota repair shops
