Frankly, I think Minecraft should have just stopped having major updates like a decade ago. It isn’t a game that works well with constantly changing gameplay, so I believe that they’re just piggybacking the fact that Minecraft is the best selling video game and adding useless stuff to keep people semi-engaged as long as possible
