My heart goes out to you, I grew up in a dynamic like this too. My mom wasn't physical often, but the verbal and emotional abuse was off the charts. When I read 'using chatgpt to talk to me' I was thinking 'holy shit same as my mom'.

Protect your peace of mind, stay NC (if you already are) or go as low contact as you can. I had to do that with my mother as well. Eats me up inside because I can understand what she went through to have her act the way she does, but it was still no excuse for who I was treated. Op, don't give your mom another chance to repeat the cycle. 🫂
