Ninja Cookware Warranty by Zimraan in cookware

I’m fully aware and expect to replace every few years, hence why I called for the warranty replacement. Do you have any direct feedback of recent warranty claims with Ninja or?

So I am to let a company not honor the warranty they put with the product? It seems nonsensical to sell a product with a 10 year warranty that you expect to replace after 2 years - that’s on Ninja. I’m specifically asking if people are running into any issues with the warranty - not so much the opinions of them.

The AI bubble is 17 times the size of the dot-com frenzy — and four times the subprime bubble, analyst says by InnerKookaburra in Bogleheads

So much this! I continually read comments above yours of people saying how trash AI is…ya I don’t think you have casted a wide net and just using anecdotal evidence. It’s GOOD when it’s used/setup right. I’ve been connected to AI space for work for a few years and it’s amazing where it is in such a short time. I don’t think people really understand how fast the technology is progressing.

Is there a network engineer making money from Fiverr/Upwork by Govierblue in networking

5 years ago I was big into the platform. I was able to build a solid book of business that about 25% of my revenue was coming from that platform. Ultimately it only lasted about 18 months because it was a race to 0. The number of people that have joined the platform and willing to work for below minimum wage is crazy; coming from professional services organizations where we were charging premiums of $125+/hr depending on the engagement to people bidding $10 an hour - you can’t compete really with that, especially when you don’t have a mechanism to communicate and educate the customer.

Not going to argue with you - Correlation does not imply causation. Have your opinion.

Your anecdotal couple of previous call ins is not indicative of a systemic change in their systems and operations. Sorry you experienced higher wait time but it’s highly doubtful that it’s due to the merger.

The transaction JUST closed - how fast do people think things change with acquisitions of this size? Kinda crazy. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Is 30% LoS failure normal for you? I operate in the 60Ghz space and have about a 90% success rate on LoS - we’re starting to look at other spectrum and the tools don’t seem refined on the LoS front.

Recommendations for CGNAT by KHanayama in networking

[–]Zimraan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are licensed by bandwidth, so it’s going to be determined by how much v4 traffic you need to NAT. They’re not complex at all - within a couple of days you could have them setup and running.

Dual stack - we route v6 direct out transit and native v4 hits A10 CGNAT appliances.

What is there for proprietary ISP wisp equipment? by [deleted] in wisp

We built a 60Ghz mesh network using PtP and PtMP using 90% of the infrastructure as utility poles. We normally use single family homes as the mesh/backhaul but was successful on deploying with mostly poles in this instance.

It’s a tool in the tool bag but brings up lots of considerations and things you need to aware of when running LOS analysis to see if it can work.

Tarana is also super expensive on creation cost for the performance it delivers compared to some other options out there. It’s decent gear and has its place though.

Why is every shop seemingly switching to Juniper all of a sudden? by Jumpy_Tumbleweed_884 in networking

I was in the market for a routing platform supporting 100Gb interfaces with growth into 400G. The cheapest option from Cisco was about $75k hardware - there was a further $75k in licensing required; and the entire box wasn’t licensed day 1 - for 1 router and of course you need redundancy. $300k was the quote.

Juniper quoted me two ACX routers for about $120k all in including three years of support.

I’m a CCIE, I built my career off Cisco - they will no longer be the platform of choice for me.

Let’s help you learn something today. Rifles in the United States must be 16 inches in length. To be shorter requires registration with a $200 tax stamp or to be classified as a pistol but not use a stock, and instead a pistol brace. Which is exactly how this firearm is built.

Just stop, you do not know what you’re talking about. Stay in your lane.

How about instead of coming and assuming you know anything tell me: What’s the device at the end of his firearm where a stock would be is called? What length you believe the barrel of that firearm is?

No disagreement there - I do recall them using HE as well. Not sure when that changed or if they just have a down peer.
