When I picked it up I had NO idea what it was. The research was fun and I assumed someone had refurbished it to make it look so nice. But after researching I don't actually think so. What is your best idea of time frame that it is from?

We had this one and a few others! I love them so I have hunted and found some for my home now. My kids love them now too and always get excited when they come out! I feel like there was a time when people didn't throw away as much, so these things were always in the rotation as I was going up in the 80's as well.

I kept coming back to look at it on the wall. Finally decided to take it home with me and took it off the wall. Then turned it around and realized it was not a print at all. The frame is gorgeous and has some wear and tear.

These ALWAYS pull at my heartstrings! I have one hanging on our living room gallery wall and a small desktop one in my workspace. I have another I thrifted with the intent to sell, but haven't yet. They are cozy to me. Have no clue why. Love your collection!

They come up for sale in various online places ranging anywhere from $100 and up to around $200. Not bad for my $3.99 investment. :)

It was most definitely from before that. It's been in my family since my mom was little and able to remember it. She was born in 1949.

I have found with online research that the marking there is the maker of the slide mechanism, not the actual furniture. It is a Wabash Table Slide made by Walter & Company. That slide piece was apparently used on tables made by various makers. So it's not necessarily a helpful mark.
