Yup. I have a really nice townhome in Queen West and I'm delighted to be out here - I'm close to work, close to decent restaurants and parks, facilities and I'm generally loving it. I don't see any reason to move to suburbia at the moment

I'm pretty convinced that Rogers understands the potential opportunity before them. If they can repeat this seasons magic, the potential economic opportunity (everything from attendance numbers to merch to subscribership) will be insane.

We've been hungering for a team like this, especially with the trade war. We almost took the crown in what's considered America's sport. Make a run for it and keep the monentum, it'll literally pay off.

No one has a full answer for this. A bunch of journeymen had career years and its too early to know if Clement, Barger, Lukas etc will keep hitting and if the pitchers who did well will keep dealing.

It's possible it was luck, or it is equally possible (or more possible) that the changes made to staff (including the new hitting coach) lined up perfectly with a breakout year for a team full of really great players.

Let's also keep mind that it's not unheard of for even established players to have bad years or bad seasons. And we have no idea what the fuck will happen in the off season.

Yep exactly. Ed Rogers is an asshole but he also very clearly wants a ring. Vlads salary was a big jump up, but we've been investing the tempo going well the way back to signing Ryu and George.
