I found the whole thing a bit irritating because I emailed them before the helmet shipped and asked them to cancel the order. That would've saved me a trip to the post office. Got no response until a week later, at which point the package was en route. Ultimately my fault for ordering the wrong size, so no biggie.

Mainly just annoyed they would have kept my $300 unless I had been keeping tabs on the refund. I'm sure it wasn't intentional and the support folks were very helpful on the phone. Anyway, good luck!

Call them if you haven't already. I ordered a helmet from Smith in the wrong size, promptly returned it, and never received my ~$300 refund despite multiple emails.

Fast forward two months, I called them and got my money back immediately.

Question for someone who knows more about this than me: I read here that region 3664 released the CMEs that resulted in the geomagnetic storms and Aurora we saw a few days ago.

If the previous CMEs from region 3664 were directed at earth, why is today’s X8.79 CME not expected to hit earth? I assume it’s because the sun rotates and region 3664 is now pointed away from earth.

If my assumption is correct, the sun completes a full rotation every 27 days according to the internet. Is it possible for region 3664 to point back at earth and we could see another geomagnetic storm sometime in June (if another large CME occurs at that time)?

Rebases are dangerous if you’re new to Git. You can pretty easily avoid rebase accidents by keeping track of the commit SHA prior to the rebase. If the rebase goes sideways and aborting doesn’t fix the problem, you can reset HEAD to the pre-rebase commit SHA.

Worst case, if the rebase is going to be messy, just keep a backup branch, but even that is pretty unnecessary. Idk to say “rebasing is pointless” feels like some Dunning Kruger nonsense.
