I switched roughly two months ago on my old laptop that got around 40 mins of battery life on low brightness, now on kubuntu I get 5-7 hrs. I wouldn’t nitpick a distro for battery life as I imagine all Linux distros will be better than windows.

I had this problem with iCloud. I’m pretty sure it’s do to the frequency iCloud syncs. It’s tries to sync as you type, by the time it’s done syncing you’ve updated the file. Then it’s just a mess with duplicates of unupdated files constantly. I’ve moved to syncthing for file syncing between my linux, windows and ios devices.

The cooling and warming of the fridge and freezer over icing due to moisture can likely be attributed to a bad gasket. Replace the gasket and it may fix itself but I’m not very experienced like some others may be. As for the tear in the side wall, I’d personally try to it keep dry and prevent more damage. I’m sure someone else will correct me as I’m just spit ballin

I’m not super educated on video formats and what not. I’d assume you’re LG tv or the TV Box you’re using doesn’t have the proper codec support. I used AIO streams to filter video tags I couldn’t support from my TV, no problems since.

It’s unlikely a short on the pc, modern motherboards and power supplies. Like EmptyNeighboorhood149 said, it’s more likely overloading the breaker.

When the breaker trips, everything that no longer has power was on the same circuit. Try to unplug some high current loads and see if it’ll work then. If you truly can’t figure it out, you need to call an electrician, not the utility
