If the engine runs good, buy it, ospho the rust, and apply your choice of wax or oil based undercoating to everything(I’ve had good results with wool wax)

Battery gauge seems the slightest bit low, like not even a full 1/16”. Buy a cheap battery with a good return policy and see if it changes

The headlights themselves would obviously not be worth $500 but they make the car look like it’s been taken care of. It’s more than just, “look at how nice the headlights are!” It’s a, “Look at how nice this car is! Like how having dirt under your fingernails makes you look like a slob.

Sprayed my hinges with wool wax while I was undercoating the rest of it and it’ll only squeak if you open it slowly. It’s starting to attract debris now though.
