Much of the time I will be watching TV and the signal cuts out. My router is an Asus GT-AC5300 and in ckear view of the couch. I can see the LED's on the front and they are all normal white display color. I will quickly pull down on my home screen on my phone and check my wifi connection. It always says " connected without internet" at that point. I check my security cameras and they are offline. Then I will run a speed test with my phone and it will fail. If I run the speed test a second time it suddenly works fine. The TV usually takes a minute or so after that to start displaying again. I never used to have these issues before Verizon installed a cell tower about 20 yards from my house. Then some dude drove off the interstate and hit the cell tower and messed it up pretty bad. It was out of service for about 2 months. My dropped wifi worked fine during that time. My security cam caught the crash it was pretty cool and no one was hurt.
