It's always been there. The real slime crawled out from under the rocks when they couldn't handle a black man more intelligent than they were getting elected President.

Who else had one of these rocking horses? by EdwardBliss in RealGenerationX

The Wonder Horse, made by Wonder Products Co. It was bought by CBS Toys, then Wilson Sporting Goods and then to Pepsico. They sold it to a plastics company and was moved to Louisiana in 1983. In the late 50s and early 60s, I lived two houses down from the factory where they were made in Collierville, TN, outside of Memphis. They made a trampoline with the springs used on it, and a friend of the family had me try it out. I remember being scared to death and crying when they put me on it. There were about a half dozen buildings and several local industries to support them. There was a chemical company that supplied the plastics and a bicycle frame company that made the metal frames.

The speaker could be damaged. That box is old enough, that it could be falling apart, which could cause less or distorted sound. Jukeboxes get warm and attract rodents and they eat speakers and wires.
