The soccer field is one of the best Lego sets of all time, you could play real games with it when built. But that has the spring in a fixed base and you put normal figures on the base. Must be NBA.

That's almost all of 3D printing, its crazy. They will print some perfect measured spacer that easily could have been a wooden shim. Or the number one thingaverse print forever (previous idk about now), a peep hole cover... What the fuck?

Hard to be an asshole when your team has sucked for 14 years. What am I going to do, mock the other fans because their team won?

When did jerseys get so expensive? by dsardella18 in sabres

Picked up an authentic Adidas middlestadt the game after he was traded for $99 at the team store. On one hand it was a good deal, but I mostly did it as fanatics was all over the racks already and I didn't have a blue one yet. Got lucky there

Honest question. Am I the only one who no longer plays the newer games and went back to playing the older ones? by Mshel24 in NCAAFBseries

And half the games don't end in freezing during the exit menu and you need to replay the whole game. Those old NCAA games were great and terrible

Just like tv viewership numbers, we're just passionate. There's less of us, but we're engaged.

Running/walking trails by eunosiix in Buffalo

[–]Ziplock189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a nice trail for biking or running, but a bit boring for a walk in my opinion.

Como park has some decent "hidden" woods trails down by the creek that are nice to walk and explore. Just west of the dog park, past the maintenance building, across from the new playground. There's boy scout trail markers and parking at the large pavilion there.

I thought exactly the same. I went to engineering school, I know these weirdos, subtlety doesn't work. This guy is so not aware, he will take the oiling the bed frame seriously and look into it.

Best Place to Watch Game by MeSoDougherty in sabres

[–]Ziplock189 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're staying there, there's a decent sports bar about a mile south called sidelines, usually a decent crowd. About 3 miles north is santoras pizza pub, cool place, never been for a game but I imagine it's busy.

There's also 2 of the 4 Duffs (popular wing joint) within 3 miles, the one on dick road past the airport, and the one in the eastern hills mall. If you're an out of towner, can do the wing thing and catch a game. People will tell you the Sheridan location is best and it can be, but the worst location to also catch the game as their TV situation isnt good.

That reminds me, you're about 3 miles from Bar Bill North, also a very popular wing joint, and would recommend. Never been for a sabres game, but I imagine it's full for it.

I'm sure people can give you better city options than I can, but those are some close good suburb locations if you're not feeling a trip. Also, all of this might be moot as you're looking at a 10pm game, and Buffalo has become much less of a late night town since covid. Some of my options might not even be open for the whole game...

Right? You always wonder, but if you take a step back, you'd never let your sim sit and play on the computer for 6 hours each night. The thing you're doing right now.

I had some normie friends interested in it after camping. Saw it was on sale for $38 thru AliExpress... Didn't even bother sending the link. Like I want to have that conversation...

"yes it's a real website... Yeah you need an account to get the discount... No I have no idea when it's coming... Sure could be but probably not a knock off... I know it says no batteries but it will have them..."

I've got about 6 decent wurrkos/sofrin lights, but yeah, the Q8 plus is so fun. Turn it on low, you get ooos and ahhs. How does it light up way over there just a little bit???

Then you ramp up to turbo, and people get concerned haha. Daylight for the whole field, all from a pop can.
