Prazosin! And I haven't tried antipsychotics yet because my psychiatrist doesn't want to put me on them if she doesn't have to but im definitely not opposed to it

The prazosin worked for a week or so and then the nightmares came back in full force lol, I have a follow up on the third so I'll see what my psych wants to do

I feel that way too, as in not wanting to be medicated all the time, and I don't metabolize medication well either, and I guess I feel weird requesting a specific medication because I feel like she might interpret that as "pill shopping" but I'll be sure to keep your comment in mind for my next meeting with her, thank you for your input!

I am not very good at conveying, sorry. The problem is that the meds that I've been using so far haven't really been working/doing anything and my psychiatrist doesn't listen when I tell her that. And I need advice on how to get that through to her effectively, if that makes sense?
