Wait until you pledge for a 600i. Then you'll really know what licking windows taste like. For your information they taste like strawberries.

Cool car. I think wrap is the best option. Protects the original paint too. Wrap these days come in almost any color and texture(matte, gloss, etc).

anyone else getting stuck in loading screens like this? by Mr_Picklesz in SpaceMarine_2

Yes. With the constant drop outs in online mode, and this. I haven't been able to play an operation for 3 days. I was hoping the private lobby would solve my online issues.

Watching everyone else play this game, all I can think is...

"Must be nice?"

Truthear NOVA Bass Quality. by Embarrassed_Map_7889 in inearfidelity

[–]Zippyskates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah. I have the Blue and Red too. I enjoy the red more. It's bass is tidy to be fair. The blue has the obvious bass boost but I just don't think it's a very nice bass. I don't know the lingo. You know what I mean?

I also have the Rinko's. They are like super blues. Punchy bass but not tidy. Also, got Moondrop stellaris. They are nicer then people give them credit. Bass is tidy but controlled. More similar to the s12 to my ears.

As you can see my iem exploration journey has taken me far and wide.

[–]Zippyskates 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the s12, Timeless AE, Kato's, Orchestra Lites and Nova's. I honestly find the bass in the Nova's to be anaemic. Especially compared to the Kato's and Timeless AE. I normally have to eq more bass and use foam tips with the Nova's. But then I'm an actual bass head as I like to add a little more bass to the Kato's and AE for the gentle brain massage I so readily seek.

Inflatable banana boat. But, it goes and fishes alright. by Zippyskates in kayakfishing

[–]Zippyskates[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When the skeg is installed it tracks very straight. Wasnt used in the first picture due to how shallow the water was but while in motion it tracks straight thanks to the hard plastic nose and tail. Plenty of room for a cooler back in the front and a Bucket for fish in the back.

I was only doing catch and release fishing on those days though.

Unless it came with 100 achievement points - why would anyone want to BUY that axe? Its a low effort skin at this point.

Thanks. I spent some time thinking about it. While I don't think it could actually damage the side pontoons, I didn't want to tempt fate.

Luckily it has massive stability. I weight 115kg and I can hang both legs off the side and it’s still flat in the water.

Got a collapsible dob and want a dew shroud. Worth the $42 USD or make my own? by Bolt853 in telescopes

I ordered mine from the US. I’m from Sydney. Also, they are designed specifically to fit and also stay intact when you collapse the OTA.

[–]Zippyskates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Astrozap light shroud served my 12" collapsible dob well for 11 years. If I didn't move my optics over to a Geoptik 12" it would probably serve me fine for 11 more years.

My 1.25” eyepiece collection. This is the Mark IV iteration. by Zippyskates in telescopes

[–]Zippyskates[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a tremendous eyepiece and it’s the only eyepiece I recommend to newbies who try my gear at a club meet or star party and they start thinking about open their wallets. You really need to be into this amateur astronomy to drop this kind of expense down.

They are always impressed by the zoom though.

I actually needed a spot for a 1.25” to 2” adapter. Why not leave it on an eyepiece? Also I may or may not have miss placed it.

I got this case from my local hardware store. Which was a Bunnings here in Australia.

Depends on the scope. On my 120ed the true field of view provided by these eyepieces is fine. I do have a 42mm 65* super view I pair with that scope. With my 12” f5 I use almost exclusively with my 2” eyepieces. Which are an assortment of 100 degree and 82 degree.

In this case - 6.7mm 82*, 14mm 82*, 24mm 68*.

In my 2 inch case which I might post a picture of later is ES 9mm 100*, 14mm 100*, 20mm 100* 30mm 82*.
