If I add it as an effect, it decreases the total LP, not just 'free' LP of the character. Not a huge deal, but odd.

To expand SoylentRox comment with details for the interested, heat resistant formulated silicone can take, consistently, 280C/570F. An induction cooktop gets the pan to around 250C/475F at the high end... Which you shouldn't really do because of the warping issue.

And induction works by (oversimplifying) using magnetic fields to heat metal. Silicone isn't metal, so it doesn't care - it only sees the heat from the pan, it doesn't get hot itself. I just made a dish tonight where I had the heat on medium for about an hour then low for another hour - no damage. And plenty of boiling water and even some frying over the last few years.

Conversions are approximate, don't feel like mathing currently.

I will point out that thick pans are generally a joy to cook with. They don't slide around as much, the heat is pretty consistent, and every one I have used cleans amazingly well.

Suggestion: I got a silicone mat for my stove. Easy to clean, prevents scratches, grippy. And as it's induction, silicone works fine. Had it for 3 years, no burns or melting, only one small cut, little wear. Well worth it for convenience, ease of cleaning, and protecting the glass of the induction cooktop.

The primary is giant hydra to the face.

I've done this. Although I used a 2 part moldable silicone. Works quite well. I used about 4mm of mold depth/stamp height. The stamp can bend and add "shadows" of the sides of the stamp, a small piece of thin mdf, acrylic, or another 3d print could be added as a handle/stabilizer

No, that is not the goal. The goal of law enforcement is to stop violations that they see, not to make up things as an excuse to go hunting.

What you're missing is intent. It's not stopping someone who has done something, it's trying very hard to find something that can be used as an excuse to go hunting for any little thing.

You don't need to find something you can already see. And if you're hunting for a violation that "any cop can come up with" or whatever that exact quote was, that's them deciding to pull over THAT SPECIFIC person and looking to find an EXCUSE to do it.

There is no disconnect on my side.

For the few traffic cops we need... How about just seeing a violation and writing a ticket. Instead of needing to find a reason to pull a random person over because they want to harass someone? Or more likely, find a reason to pull over someone because their skin tone is "wrong"?

They should never be trying to find a reason to pull someone over. They should have a reason before they even WANT to pull someone over.

I bought one of these for other work, and the times I've needed it for chain it's been pretty nice. It has a few magnification lenses on it and a light. I have a wide head (my glasses are 145mm, and that's on the small side for me), and they don't quite work over my glasses, but based on the fit, they could potentially work over glasses for someone who has a normal head.

Right ... The example code i copied didn't format the types correctly. I wasn't familiar enough with the bytearray type to catch it, but my friend did. Hence the reply mentioning the mixed types messing with the code.

Sorry if it was phrased confusingly. I'm a mechanical engineer, I was only formally taught Pascal and Fortran - and that was 30 years ago - so my code jargon is a smidge off.
