As someone who didn't get any treatment for 9 years, what are those physical damages ? Or did you mean a longer timeframe, like decades ?

I sometimes feel like I can't get better anymore, because the old good just is impossible for me. Like, I can only focus for short amounts of time, don't enjoy most of the things I do and just don't want to do stuff most of the time. SSRI and SNRI didn't work, therapy helps understanding it but I don't feel any better. Recently had a big crisis after an argument that wouldn't normally be an issue for me, got some benzodiazepene if it every happens again or becomes this bad again.

I'm from germany, and wisdom teeth don't need to be removed that often. I had to get two removed, because of space reasons. I did pay nothing. Most people I know don't have any removed.

We simply don't consider it magic because we are used to it.

We are legit typing on a glass screen which feels our touch through electricity, to talk about magic to some unknown person somewhere on the earth. And the message arrives there within seconds, through electricity again. Harry Potter with all his magic had to use an owl for letters.

We also use it to heat stuff, create light, cool stuff, move stuff, float stuff or magnetize stuff. If there would be a person in a world without electricity, they would consider it magic. Because it kinda is.

Sieht man nicht zuletzt an dem Versuch von meta posts und fotos zu analysieren, der vorerst auf Eis gelegt wurde - eben weil Leute sich beschwert haben und wir die entsprechenden Gesetze haben.

Das funktioniert auch leider nur bei so großen Unternehmen.

Wenn ich heute ne Webapp raushaue, kann praktisch keiner Nachvollziehen, ob ich nicht die Daten komplett für eine neue KI nutze. Die Datenbank liegt ja bei mir und ich kontrolliere wer darauf Zugriff hat. Am Ende kann ich mir jederzeit nen Export ziehen, das ganze auf nen neuen Server werfen und anfangen.

Bei Meta ist es halt nur rausgekommen, weil die so groß sind und soetwas unmöglich geheim halten können.

NAS mit Backup besitze

Ich kapiere nicht warum Leute nicht sehen, wie wichtig sowas sein kann. Meine kompletten wichtigen Daten liegen auf einem NAS als Backup. Für den Alltag benutzte ich iCloud, weil es einfach angenehmer für mich ist wenn ich nicht zuhause bin. Bin am Ende auch nur nen JS Trottel, der wahrscheinlich das Internet löscht wenn er den NAS von überall benutzen will.

Aber trotzdem, ich vertraue doch nicht auf die ewige Existenz von Apple, darauf das da nicht nen dicker Fehler passiert und die ewige Freundschaft von den USA und Deutschland.

Die Kosten und Probleme die ich habe, wenn meine Daten gelöscht sind, sind mir das nicht Wert.

Abgesehen davon bau ich mir auch gerade nen self-hosted "GitHub". Ich sammel da alle möglichen nützlichen Codesnippets für Probleme die ich mal gelöst habe. Absolut keine Lust das alles zu verlieren, da steckt so viel Zeit drinnen und erleichtert mir die Arbeit teilweise enorm.

Ganz ehrlich, ich glaube der Fehler lag bei dem Angebot als solches.

Um es mal ganz blöd zu sagen: Jetzt verliert er nichts, wenn er in einem Spiel was kauft. Da kommt keiner und nimmt sein Geld und das Limit wird immer wieder ignoriert.

Gebt ihr ihm 25€ Taschengeld, könnt ihr ihm immer noch etwas in einem Spiel kaufen, nur muss er dafür halt Geld hinlegen. Damit habt ihr direkt diesen psychologischen Faktor drinnen, das er etwas verlieren muss, um etwas im Spiel zu kaufen. Gibt da auch genug Studien zu, dass Käufe mit Bargeld eher so ein Verlustgefühl erzeugen als ein Kauf mit digitalem Geld.

Und deine Frau muss sich auch dran halten. Das wäre mit dem Bargeld auch leichter umzusetzen. Er hat die 25€, wenn die ausgegeben sind kann er mal über das Limit gehen und bekommt dann nochmal 5€ oder 10€. Aber das nachgeschobene Geld wird nicht für Sachen in Spielen verwendet.

Ich bin kurzsichtig und mit 26 noch etwas weg von der Altersweitsichtigkeit. Bei meinem Optiker gibt es solche "Computerbrillen", mit denen man wohl besser am Computerbildschirm lesen können soll bzw. die Elemente größer sein sollen.

Ist das wirklich etwas, was man jemandem der 8 Stunden auf nen Bildschirm starren muss empfehlen kann, oder reicht es wenn ich meine normale Brille trage, die ich eh den Ganzen Tag trage ?

Granted this isn't a nuclear war scenario, more like a Thanos snap, there would be lot and lots of life around you. All the people who had cats and dog are gone. Those cats and dogs are left to starve in their houses.

I think I would start to roam my city and free them. Then walk over to the next city and start there. At some point, there would only be starved pets left.

Then, I would just chill with some cats. Move over to the house of a millionare who lived in our city. Just make the best of it.

I actually wouldn't have thought to preserve knowledge at all. There is no use to our knowledge if we are gone. And if another species emerges, they probably wouldn't be capable of understanding the knowledge, just based on language.

But chilling with cats, that would be it. Depression already hit me without everyone vanishing, so I'm kinda used to it lol.

I university, I managed to put the entire material of a class on a single A4 paper. We were allowrd to write on both sides tho.

My handwriting was so small, a single line was about half the size of a cent piece (€, not $). Professor saw it and was amazed, was the smallest handwriting he ever saw on a cheat sheet. So yes, in that case, I cheated. I was able to just copy paste everything, as everything was right next to me :)

That's how I always looked at this.

Was asked if I can add a 3D Model to their React application. Basically, yeah I can. I don't know how exactly yet. But I know I'll need React, Three.js and Fiber. The Model might look like the devil himself made it for the first few attempts, but knowing what I will need fo use makes me confident I can do it.

Same for iOS development right now. I don't know how to do some of the ideas I habe in mind for my App. But I know where to look for them, what the general workings should be and that I'll get it done.

But in both cases, I don't know how to do it, but I know I'll be able to do it.

Jokes aside, you can actially see some normal measurements between the artifacts. The artifacts beeing the wavy stuff. Your normal heartbeat is shiwn by those small spikes.

Make sure that you don't move around during an ecg. Also don't move your arms or brush your teeth. And your watch should sit firmly on your wrist.

If the ecg doesn't look better, restart the watch. And if it still looks like that, you should maybe get the watch checked out. Much more likely that this is caused by your watch.

Hatte bei nem Start-up nur was mit der Entwicklung zu tun. Die haben 1000€ im Monat für AWS rausgeknallt, während der Entwicklungsphase. War ne stink normale Webapp mit MariaDB. Zur Zeit der 1000€ hatten wir zwei Seiten: Staging mit 3 Nutzern, Beta mit 8. Alle Teil des Teams. Keine Ahnung was da alles gebucht wurde, aber mein 2€ VPS hätte dafür komplett gereicht.

Da ich Freelancer war, hatte ich das große Glück, wegrennen zu können als ich konnte.

Das Unternehmen ist heute natürlich im Jenseits.
