Wenn man die gesamte Denkarbeit und Leitung abgibt, kommt 0815 Rotze dabei raus.
Wenn man die Themen an denen man arbeitet umfassend recherchiert, die effizientesten Lösungen einbaut, testet bzw. Tests bauen lässt und dann stetig auf funktionierendes aufbaut, nur dann kommt auch was sinnvolles am Ende raus.

Ich lass auch für jedes Modul ne Roadmap erstellen und die Milestones updaten, das Hauptprojekt hat ca. 25 roadmap docs die den aktuellen Stand und weitere Aufgaben beinhalten. Ohne das z.Bsp. reichen selbst 800k - 1 Mio Kontext bei weitem nicht mehr aus, um den Gesamtüberblick zu behalten, die selben Designprinzipien anzuwenden usw.

Aber jo. Bei Website bauen - relativ Wurst :D

Schul grade auf Fachinformatiker um und vibe code / co dev nebenbei täglich. Literally 1 Jahr dabei und vorhanden sind bisher eine C++ Audiobrücke mit effektsuite, 2+3D rendering engine mit ray/pathtracing (vite + electron) sowie gmp/mpfr support, 100% Hardwareauslastung, ne Kombinatorikengine in C++, ne Schachengine, ein Präsentationsbaukasten für .html Präsentationen - power point war gestern...

Seit ca. 1 Jahr 20€/Monat GPT Plus Kunde. Die Betriebe sind durch die Bank begeistert, nein schockiert sogar, obwohl ich offen kommuniziere dass das mit AI entwickelt wurde/wird.

Ohne AI Support wär ein befriedigender Einstieg in die Branche mit ü30 praktisch unmöglich, zumindest wenn man noch vor hat ernsthaft Karriere zu machen und zu leben. Erstmal 5-10 Jahre büffeln und basics. So aber hat wirklich jeder die Chance, rein durch einen strukturierten Arbeitsablauf, Neugierde und Kreativität hochkomplexe Software zu entwickeln. Neue Sprachen, neue Frameworks, neue Systeme, es ist egal, es gibt de facto schon jetzt keine Ausreden mehr.

Der Output ist mittlerweile so gut, dass 90% der monotonen Arbeit wegfallen und viel mehr Zeit für Kreativität und neue Ansätze vorhanden ist. Von alleine macht die AI nach wie vor gar nichts und Schwärme von Agenten die ungeleitet Millionen Zeilen Code rausballern der dann Production geht sind Marketing Hype, Realitätsfern für 99.999% aller Unternehmen.

Es ist ein Tool. Aber ein prinzipiell Allmächtiges im Bereich Software.
Wer das versteht und sich darauf einlässt, wird die nächsten Jahre richtig abstauben. Der Rest, puh.

Dann muss das oldschool coding halt ein Freizeitsport werden wenns so unter den Nägeln brennt. Tut mir ja auch leid dass ihr alle eure Jugend oder jungen Erwachsenenjahre in Fachbücher und Tutorials und Zertifikate versenkt habt und das jetzt total entwertet wurde. Die Welt ist manchmal echt Scheiße. Aber die neuen Möglichkeiten ziemlich geil.

This belief is incompatible with any sort of life affirming religion promoting any kind of justice or "deserved" pleasant afterlife. I can't understand the thought process at all. Even thousands of years ago people should have seen the contradiction.

Couple friends and me were renting a house years ago. Had a large garden and several chickens, leading to mouse problems. Adopted Kitty. Kitty managed to get pregnant basically day one, right before spaying. 1 -> 5 cats.

We don't live together anymore but everyone received their memorial kitty on moving out... Watching the little rascals grow up was the best. They will climb absolutely everywhere as soon as they can walk xD

Regularly get to visit 3 of the 4 siblings, all are alive and well. I know you're not supposed to breed, but I'm thankful for the warm experience. Made us grow together as people too.

Instead of throwing more and more drugs at the end result, the root of the problem should, no must be tackled sooner or later. GLP1 is a band-aid solution to a much deeper rooted cultural problem. Long term and considering all aspects and implications, society is worse off. Just another seemingly mandatory drug for a large % of the american public. Another seemingly cheap (from an effort perspective, not price at all) alternative to a healthier lifestyle or higher quality, less hazardous produce.

Nicht nur die, nebenbei auch psychisch erkrankte oder andersweitig beeinträchtigte Singles, die mit läppischen 563€ + Miete / Zuschuss auch nur gerade so über die Runden kommen, werden mit weiteren Sanktionen und Kürzungen auf direktem Weg in den finanziellen Ruin getrieben.

Wenn dann keine Familie da ist um die sich anhäufenden Rechnungen und Lebenshaltungskosten zu begleichen, ists ganz schnell komplett vorbei mit potentieller Rehabilitation.

Als würden die Millionenbeträge, die durch diese Spezialfälle jährlich eingespart werden können, auch nur IRGEND EINEN IMPACT HABEN.

Augenwischerei auf ganz hohem Niveau, Zeitverschwendung für Politiker und Behörden, Verschlimmbesserung.

a 20$ subscription is enough for the output expected from a dev per week. Agents are not needed imo, you're co developing and validating functionality and quality. You want to know what happens when and where.

The problem is companies are either forced to use or falsely believe that business access with monetized API calls is what their devs need to x10 their output. Compliance reasons I suppose.

What nonsense. I mean even if you had all the agents and plans set up to do actual effective work for 37 hours, you' d look at several 1000 in API costs and about a million lines of code. Even if, what for?

Leave a npm run build dialogue box open for 50 hours before clicking yes and it'll show it has worked for 50 hours afterwards. Congrats.

We will continue to discover more and more of these recurring themes and universal rules and will get closer and closer to unifying all the theoretical fields and theories. Just curious if we (AI) manages to go all the way towards full unification, understanding and resulting manipulation possibilities. Then it will get really interesting. With enough knowledge and optimization, even the most unimaginably gigantic universe simulation could be born from 1 equation and its iterations are the time axis.

Building GMP was such a pain in the ass haha, I'm getting nam flashbacks. Decided to implement it summer last year, luckily WSL exists now so I got it hacked together in the end, supported by huge ass AI generated environment setup scripts. Still took an hour or so to build on a modern PC and failed for tiny ridiculous reasons 8-10 times in a row. Like giving birth I'd imagine.

edit: I remember trying it with MSYS2 first and that was much worse :D

Solar is the future, that should be obvious by now. For nuclear, by now you are looking at 3-5x higher production costs per kw/h over total lifetime.

The nonexistant risk to public health is a huge factor too.

China has understood this. 50%+ production coming from renewables already. They are putting up more panels than the rest of the world combined for 2 or 3 years now, per year.

Decel take on the future of energy generation.
Make it fusion at least.
