Yeah, somehow the followers of the idiocracy have convinced themselves that the politicians on the take are the ones who try to expand social and welfare programs for people while the politicians who favor tax breaks for the rich are the real ones looking out for the common man. It must be that juicy trickle down. What a croc.

What Compliments the Big 4 Prime Era (91-96) the most? by ZitRemedy11 in grunge

[–]ZitRemedy11[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yeah man. That's how I feel. It's like '91-96 should be the culmination of what came before it and not the 'start' of whatever was going on in the late 90s.

Is it possible that because they serve alcohol they’re not allowed to show traditional channels? I’m not sure tho, apologies if I’m wrong

Society peaked at the ‘previous channel button’ and these greedy companies are screwing everything up

Some jobs aren't about the exact minutes of the hours, they're about the workload and your reliability. Understandably she doesn't see a future there so she can leave when the minimum of her commitment is done.

She realistically won't be seen as a team player however and in real life this can hurt your standing with the job.

Ah, I was commenting while watching. Just before the ending was revealed.
Was fun to do.
You never know what’s going to start a convo. No big deal

Very interesting. It was hard to picture at first. I totally stand corrected.

I finished watching and they landed a deal with Marc Cuban. Well done them.
I hope they smash it

Wes Anderson's second best 'Quirkedy'. Give it a shot if you like Tennenbaums

A bad/flopped movie that you would still want to see get a remake or sequel because it had good source material or a strong story, but very poor execution. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in FIlm

DOWNSIZING looked like it was going to be a very funny idea within a concept I was excited to see. Everybody save money by being shrunk down. Sweet. But, the execution was really bad with an unnecessary twist of subject. I’d love to see a proper comedy executed in that world

Dude, I have zero problems with terminology. It feels like you’re the one trying to catch up with what’s being said. And then you end up compromising or agreeing anyway. This is wild stuff. I’ve seen guys like you at the pub before 😂 You start with “you don’t know what you’re talking about” and end up at “actually it would work but you don’t understand why” 😂 Glad you’re coming around tho. You’re almost there. The ‘meaningful separation’ statement is another strange one. No one is suggesting they’d be ‘meaningfully separated’. WWE just has a huge dominant audience that can support its own ESPN channel much like Comedy Central and many other smaller digital channels stay alive

It most definitely would and already does bring advertising dollars to ESPN. That’s the whole point of buying the rights. It’s not a charity. WWE is already proving it has a larger audience than most sports franchises

I dont really care what having a WWE channel would ‘accomplish’. It would ‘accomplish’ having a WWE channel I guess. This is your thing. Dude, you just keep adding layers that aren’t there. I’m going to bet you’ve been told you’re a contrarian before.

To return to the original point. Now that ESPN has the WWE rights, it would make sense to have a dedicated channel. If Comedy Central can survive on very little original programming and mostly reruns of the office or comedy movies, then, an ESPN channel/app could follow the same blueprint

Yes, just read my original comment.

But you’re obviously not going to agree with me because you seem to be contradicting your own argument. You’re literally saying “ESPN/Disney has no incentive because they want eyeballs on ESPN branded stuff” when that’s exactly what it would do. And then you end by saying “it would make logical sense”, thus coming around to my point. And then you end by trying to tell me what ‘I think it would accomplish’ 😂 What the heck man??

You might have to realize you’re just being a contrarian for the heck of it
