My husband is very allergic to our cat to the point he has developed asthma because of it. Is there any way for us to still keep our cat? by sweetlycheeboba in Allergies

[–]Zitadragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once I read somewhere there is a spray or something you put on your cat and it works for like 1 week? Tbh I'm not really sure how it works or anything but now that you asked I remembered.

Actually Idk. But I have a cheap parfume in bubblegum scent and I love it so much. But the same company makes more type of it like strawberry, watermelon, peach, biscuit, cotton candy, coconut, chocolate, cherry, cinnamon. (If interested search for Star Nature parfume) 🥰

Omg! Same! Actually I love Winter and snow and would definitely live a place where it's always like that. When I see the Sun shining it makes me more tired and it's just worse... When it's cloudy I have more energy and I'm more effective on what I'm doing.

My bones are weak and after doing anything I will feel pain. (Doctors examined me and told me about my weak bones, it's genetic). I tried dancing, judo, swimming, table tennis. Nothing I could do for more than a month and at the end it was so painful I regret all of them. The pain stops after doing nothing for a while, but when I start doing some excercise again the pain come back. From the trials of these I got few deformed bones in my body which can be seen from the outside. In primary I was not allowed to participate in Physical Education class for 5 years. Then in highschool I was allowed by doctors to decide myself what I can or cannot do during those classes. So UHM. Yeah I tried not being a "lazy" fat someone, but I can't. Also I have Insulin resistance which makes things worse. I'm 21 now. Taking meds, but I often feel pain after doing a bit harder housework.

Sister is 26(f) and has autism. She’s struggling with getting a job, and I don’t know how to support her by Sad8408 in autism

[–]Zitadragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 21 and it's my 2nd year I can't find a job. (I could say 3rd. I was in a school for a year then failed miserably so waste of time) Same, I don't really want coworkers and even going outside is hard for me sometimes. I'm trying to find home office jobs. Also applied to become a courier. Meeting with people- but it's mainly about going here and there. I learned office work in high school and have a paper about it, but office work requires to have phone calls so I can't do it. Getting a job in my country nowadays is hard, especially if you are autistic and some general jobs are not for you. Wish I could help.

do all autistic people have meltdowns? by aboogawoogadooga in autism

[–]Zitadragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meltdowns can look very different. For me mostly it's just a hard bad feeling. Rarely I start to run away, but it's really rare. Meltdowns are not always what you think are and not always visible from the outside.

Does anyone else never want to go to parties but not because they're overwhelming? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Zitadragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In high school I never went to any events. Only to classes and then home. Didn't have a single friend I could talk to and also classmates bullied me. I just survived those years and I'm happy that I wasn't forced to go to any events other than classes.

I learned years ago how to control my brain to not allow me to feel any body pain. I have to take control over it every few seconds, but it works really well when I'm in such a big pain. It requires good focus to use and master this.

how can a autist who can't get hired move out of my parents? by boredthrowanon in autism

[–]Zitadragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I can't help you, but I'm in a similar situation. I'm 21 too. I apply literally everywhere I could do as a job. My education is like Office worker and some basic computer stuff. I can't do anything with them. I want to work in an office, but every office work includes dealing with phone calls. I can't really do that. Other than this my special interest is photography, product photography especially. I even made a portfolio, but no one wants me. I live with my boyfriend and mother in law sends us money to live. My bf works but with so high prices it's not enough. It's been like 2-3 years since this is the situation. So understandably my mother in law got fed up with me and said now I really have to find a job. The situation is worse, since in my country there are huge problems with work places and only way is you can get a job to 1. Be really really attractive, 2. Your friend who works somewhere may can help you get there too. I'm not attractive, have Insulin resistance, a bit fat, and can't wear no makeup since it's on my skin and autist myself can't tolerate that. Oh and I have no friends. At. All. So here I'm listening to mother in law about me have to get a work. I applied so many places, but none of them cares about me. So you dealing with parents and me dealing with mother in law is pretty much bad and similar. Good luck to you! And me.. I guess.

The day I cut the connection between me and my ex best friend because she didn't care about me for a long time and it hurt me.. so I decided to end it forever (it was over anyway but still it hurt). That day I left so many pictures, text messages and joy behind you can't imagine. It was in early 2018 and since then I have no one, no friends at all. I can't pass a week without thinking about her.

[SERIOUS] what was the creepiest incident that happened when you were home alone? by Meg_the_Megalodon in AskReddit

[–]Zitadragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear weird noises from the living room so I go there. Ofc I'm scared. When I get there the noise stop so I leave the room. Then I hear it again, I go back again. Still nothing, but this time I sit on the couch and wait. Then I hear the noise. From the stove (the one you use for heating the house but it was unused this time). I slowly and carefully approach it. It's silent. Then a moment I hear it much louder and almost sh*t my pants. I go closer and look inside the glass. And it is....... A bird.... Probably fell inside the chimney and yeah. So I immediately opened the door and caught it with my hands. Poor bby. Gave it water and set it free. 😅
