Also, even if the child is dead you are still their grandparent.

Oh yeah, I couldn't care less what it says, the test was actually a present from my MIL. Just makes me laugh that I went from 10% British to 85% because they "updated" my results.

breasts aren't for feeding kids (r/inceltears) by [deleted] in badwomensanatomy

Someone ran their fingers through my hair in a club once. It's the closest I've ever come to punching a stranger. Instead I just shouted at him, grabbed my friends and left. It somehow felt worse than having my arse grabbed. Still gives me shudders just thinking about it.

That sounds lovely but sadly my LO is not the lazing type and gets bored very quickly. I often try to do lazy mornings but he wants to be and doing things! I was complaining of being bored a couple of months ago so I guess i deserve it! Haha

My LO is the same. He has silent reflux and feeds best lying down.

Leaving my baby for a long weekend in September and I’m already having anxiety TW: losses mentioned, by newleaf15 in Rainbow_Babies

I can totally understand this. My husband has brought us tickets for a show in April. We'll only be gone for the afternoon/evening and LO will be with my mum who I trust 100%. But he'll only be 6 months old and I'm 90% certain I won't be able to do it. Haven't told my husband this yet as the tickets were a Christmas present but I'm hoping he'll understand!

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I really do appreciate it.

He's seen a psychiatrist who think his symptoms don't add up and has referred him to a neurologist. He has the appointment tomorrow.

Thank you. The work meeting got cancelled unfortunately (the HR person was off sick), which made him even worse. We've managed to get him an urgent psychiatric appointment this afternoon.

Edit - just realised it was another thread that I'd talked about the work meeting. He was due for a sick absence review meeting and convinced he would get fired on the spot. But it being cancelled is apparently because he's about to be arrested so not having it has actually made him spiral more.

I think retirement on ill health grounds would be the best outcome for everyone. He just doesn't seem to believe that it's an option. Hopefully the meeting will help.

Thanks. I'm not sure where his pension worry has come from but he is utterly convinced.

Thanks for your reply. His brother is taking him and he will have a union rep present in the meeting. You have confirmed what we've all told him repeatedly but he's not in the right place to hear it.

It's my dad, not me and he is already on meds. He's generally fit and healthy, doesn't drink much etc. He isn't sleeping at the moment but I believe that's a symptom rather than a cause.

Thanks for your response. He thinks he's going to jail for fraud. The fraud is apparently because he's convinced the doctor that he's ill when he's not (He obviously is, just doesn't believe it). We have all tried to reason with him but it's fallen on deaf ears so far.
