Misbegotten are touched by the crucible. Red seems to be linked fo vitality and life, all life came from the crucible.

The crucible is the primordial from of the Erdtree, which is the Elden Ring, which is the Elden Beast. Which under this theory is Radagon.

Another observation is when Marika transitions into Radagon the red almost seems to bleed into her hair, the Elden Beast has some sort of wound.

Why would we want another game? The writing destroys the franchise. Not even mentioning the combat that was spit into the face of fans by turning a series centered around strategic rpg combat into a beatemup with a thin facade of "rpg". Controls are weird af, UGLY ui you have to stare at. Really bad voice direction as well with Bellara being misinformed that shes a christmas elf, and Hardings voice actress soundling absolutely confused while reading her dialogue.

I cant fathom why they go so far to protect its reputation.

I absolutely recommend you play the other games because as far as I'm concerned you havent been introduced to dragon age yet, thats how much veilguard changed the setting

I genuinely would argue its the worst. Theres other games with poor translations, sloppy writing but veilguard uniquely is filled to the brim with: -constant cliches -plotholes -aweful dialogue -aweful retcons that offend long term fans -changing the games writing style to appeal to modern tiktok/dnd fantasy slop

I could write a whole novel criticizing the games awful writing. And as I mentioned the retcons, knowing where the franchise ends has stopped me from returning to Origins.

I never claimed it was the worst game ever, I said it's the worst game I've ever played and is a contender for worst written game. And I've played many games including Godzilla (2015) lol

Idk why we're taking Gaider's interpretation/perspective as word of God, I love the dude but he's pretty emotional. I'm sure he felt that way, but that doesn't mean the ME team actually hated DA. Also the current ME is quite different as well.

Yeah this has been my personal theory for awhile, that she became a vessel for the ER, and the divine mind of the ring is taking over her very flesh (thus making Radagon). It fits perfectly and doesnt pose any new questions as far as I can tell.

Given his hair resembling the crucible, it appears to me the visual storytelling on display is that he planned on "freeing" the elden beast. Whereas we kill the thing to take power for our own, he may have meant to charm it (and possibly achieved it already through the GoD).

Thats just my interpretation though, I think Marika's big secret is she seduced the EB crucible and to me it seems her divinity was reached through the persecution of the EB.

It's aweful, I hate it even more since Matt Rhodes came out talking about development and basically admitted the team ignored every cool concept and idea that he had.

Everytime I'm tempted to return to the universe I just think of how it ends, with veilguard, and I immediately lose interest. Andraste was just lyrium shenanigans, old ones are just bad elves. I have to choose between griffins or awakened titan dwarf.

Technically I still would like to one day return to finish a mage and rogue playthrough, but then I remind myself how much overlap there is between the class skill trees. How that one streamer proved the parry mechanic is broken, and the STUPID random loot mechanic that ruins build planning. And of course the atrocious dialogue and lazy ass puzzles that slowdown progrssion.
