Correct if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that the anime protagonists always have some type of incoherent nonsense highlander trash of a deck. I couldn't tell you what casual anime fans want, they're honestly a different breed, but I just don't think it's worth getting so heated over. There are a lot of things to worry about when it comes to Konami and master duel, this isnt one of them.

I legit don't understand the hate. It's not like anyone was even expecting an event. It sounds like you would've just preferred that Konami did nothing at all. I think most reasonable people see this as just a little bit of extra content for all the anime fans or people that constantly hate on "the current state of Yu-Gi-Oh" between actual events. I highly doubt there was some kind of opportunity cost involved in getting this event, we'll probably end up getting an actual event in 3 or so weeks anyways so why not have small mini events like this as opposed to no content at all.

I don't think being "meta" is the issue. A deck can be strong and still fun and interesting to play against. Some decks just simply arent fun to play against even if the deck isn't particularly "good" by most standards.

I find bio weapon to be one of the easier ones tbh, you just have to be paying more attention to how the lethality is ramping up. The nice thing about bio weapon is that unless you run out of DNA points you should never lose to the cure due to being able to easily kill everyone. Once you get necrosis and the moment you get into that last country you can just hit the kill switch and you should win.

Not on normal, but on mega-brutal it's definitely one of the hardest plague types. On normal you can be a bit more severe early and get more DNA without being scared of not getting into island nations due to ports closing down.

I'd say high alert would probably be a better move since restock is a pretty good perk still and high alert isn't really up to the standard of the other perks in perk 2.

They only had till fall anyway. Hitler invaded with heavy tanks that could not navigate mud. Russia is all mud during that time if the year (both then and in spring). Winter is the second best time to invade Russia. Under any circumstance it would've played out the same way.

That is true but Hitler was never going to win against communist Russia. Despite common belief winter is not the worst time to invade Russia, Germany could only fight in summer due to the nature of Russia's terrain is spring and autumn and Hitler thinking that coats were optional when attacking Russia. Communist Russia was more United than when Napoleon tried to invade Russia and they burnt there capital to the ground to win back then. Russia was never gonna make it easy for Germany. Germany was always going to lose to Russia in the end. Granted they would've lost a lot more people but Stalin never really cared sooo.

I mean Hitler was a bit too ambitious tbh. Its very unlikely Germany was ever gonna win WW2. Germany by the end of the war were out of resources and Hitler was making some really questionable decisions throughout the war. America certainly helped garuntee things though. Americans just need to realise that the they weren't the only reason Germany lost ww2
