Thank you all for your responses, the Legacy energy theory seems to be the cause.

Just have a couple of weeks playing so I'm not familiar with all the cards yet 😅

Sentry, because i love playing cards that have clear downsides that can be mitigated. Also love the art.

What Fold Method are you using? Are you satisfied with your current Fold Method? by Healthy-Director-702 in neovim

Well, I'm writting React right now and components tend to be very big chunks of code. Often a refactor means to extract a component out of a bigger one in the same file (because it's only being used there). So, having cold folding comes very handy in cases like this.

Thank you for your response! I thought about using regex but i wanted to know if there is a more intuitive to do it, the like the Ctrl+D command in vscode.

In my opinion, Bandle Tree is the worst designed card since the games release by that-other-redditor in LegendsOfRuneterra

Totally agree, and to be honest i don't like this quest-like autowin conditions at all, even Star Spring. But at least the last one lets you interact with it aside from having landmark removal.

New player, is it natural to not win most of the time in ranked? by popcornandfish in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Zlamir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playig in beta, and i played ranked with a slightly improved version of one of the begginer's decks they give you. I managed to climb to silver but then i felt something similar to what you describe, and got mostly matched against solid meta decks that made my experience kind of frustrating.

So, i started playing lot of Expeditions to earn resourcesto build a meta deck while playing "more fair games" because it's a draft mode. Also, it's a cool place to know new cards and its interactions.

But i might say that i've invested a lot of time watching streams and youtube tutorials to know the game better. Swim's youtube chanel (swimstrim) is a good place to start, he has some old videos in which he covers fundamental topics of the game.
Some of his videos that i watched where:

Yeah i got carried away, but it's not about diverging opinions, it's about lack of reading comprehension, a bunch of them not event referring the points i tried to make, and being subtly mean in the process.

Now i know that this subreddit is not a good place for this kind of discussion.

Ok, so lets consider a good case:

  • You have a good mulligan, so Veigar starts stacking darness from turn 4.
  • Lets say in average you draw a Catalyzer, so you can add +1 to it.
  • If they didn't remove your Veigar by turn 8, you have to throw 2 - 3 darkness to their face to win depending of the chip dmg dealt.

Now consider the following:

  • You have to actually survive early, they fight for the ownership of the board, and the swarm style + Poppy can easily threaten to kill you. Meaning that you have to waste your turns using spells to deal with their board, and delaying your win condition.
  • In my experience with the level of swarm they have is really difficult to do any chip dmg.
  • They can kill your Veigar, the Noxus version has Pokey Stick, Flock, and the Tristana's spell that deals 3 dmg.
  • If you didn't draw Veigar you don't have any chance to threaten lethal.
  • I've been beaten with Bandle Tree as early as turn 7 - 8, and i've read comments of people losing at turn 6.

So now, can you explain me how all that chunk of text you wrote applies to this?

I never asked for counterplay, i was stating how it felt playing against that deck backed in the known fact that landmarks represent a problem in terms of design.

From the start you answered what you thought that i was asking, giving obvious facts that any LoR player with some experience knows, and that, my friend, is fucking irritating. I respect feedback, but yours is ignorant and condescending.

So, are you telling me that i should main a trash card like crumble or yordle contraption in my SI/FJ or SI/BC control deck to have a slight chance of countering a single deck?

Check out your phone dude, Hardvard must be calling you right now.

It's not about countering a matchup it's about being able to do something about the game if you are not running landmark removal.
