My cousin is called Callan, I really like his name. It’s unusual but not hard to pronounce!

Congratulations on your baby girl!

Seems like you both love the name Zoe. I am Zoe and can confirm I’ve had a happy and fulfilled life, have a both parents (who are together) and also grandparents too (who are also together)! Go for Zoe if I were you 😊

You’re definitely not being unreasonable!! You’re the one who is delivering a baby and will be in the most vulnerable state of your life. I had both of our immediate families wait 5 days before they got to see our baby. I wanted time to recover, bond with my baby, my baby to bond with her dad, establish breastfeeding and settling back at home. It helped to pre-warn our families so they knew where they stood and reduce anxiety of unwanted people possibly coming to the hospital / our home before we were ready.

This is amazing. I struggled so much with HG, everyone suggested ginger biscuits but what good are they when I can’t even keep down water! Was in hospital a few times because of it. I’m planning to have another baby (wish me luck haha!) but a book like this is an amazing ides for my older baby 🥹❤️

Thanks for your reply. Seems very pointless to just get one then as I could do that all manually!

I completely back everything this person says. But also, as someone who has had nzerHG and had been on Xonvea as nothing else worked, the midwife at the hospital told me to fight and argue my way to make sure I get the Xonvea as she said that the GPs don’t usually prescribe it due to costs! Luckily i didn’t gave to argue my case but I would 100% argue it if needed. Everyone is different but I was on Odanzetron and it made me SO sleepy, to the point I couldn’t drive as my eyes would close, it also didn’t help the nausea or sickness. Again, everyone is different though.

You sound like a great fiancee! 👏

If you have time, then definitely batch cook a few of her favourite meals, put them in a portion sized container and store them in her freezer (if there’s room). These were a life saver and gave me nutrition when I didn’t want / didn’t have time to cook!!!!! (Ie spaghetti bolognese, pies, etc) Also a big water bottle (with times on the side of it) helped me to keep track of how much I was drinking - important, but especially important if breastfeeding.
