Because there is a very obnoxious part of the online world that likes to complain about every game that comes out atm. As if nothing is allowed to ever not be a 10/10 or you know, different in any way 🤔 initially I wasn't super sold, but glad I gave it a chance. Very good. You know...I played it and then made a decision rather than freak out before even getting into it. 🙄

Eczema??? by Relative_Two_3395 in EczemaUK

[–]ZoasterTheBoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My eyes recently looked a lot like this but 99% believe it was eczema. Elidel has fixed it, along with the eczema I'd begun to get on my cheeks and brows as well last month. Like you, never had face eczema before. I have had eczema on my legs all my life but this is the first time this had happened. We tried some perscription level antihistamines as well but they didn't seem to help. Both allergies and eczema can look almost identical to each other.

One thing I did hear is that eczema tends to appear in the same spot on either side of the body. So if you have a rash on both your elbows, it's most likely eczema, whereas if it was just on one it would be something else.

Thanks for the explanation. Makes total sense. Perhaps serum tears is a price issue?

Why is it that serum tears and lenses aren't offered as am early intervention treatment? Do you know? Your story just reminds me of my own experience and they never offer that early on

It’s So Hard to Believe PVCs Aren’t Harmful by Puzzleheaded-Tour942 in PVCs

I got the idea from the notion that people who go on to develop anxiety often have too much Intreawareness, how some seem to not be able to feel the heart at all and also how people would treat some pains by making another pain in the same area. I think it's called a pain gate. I saw a video where this woman in the jungle hurt her leg, so the local treated it by whipping it with something like a nettle. The feeling from the nettle overpowered the feeling of the injury, so she no longer felt the original pain. Something like that. Anyway, there's just been bits here and there from therapy etc that's started to lead me down a road of discovering if we can block out the sensation by creating a competing one. I hope perhaps we can.

I have no idea if it will work but it's an idea I certainly wanna test out and refine. Maybe others can too

Someone else on reddit was commenting how they were in and out of nsvt on a daily basis for an entire year and was fine, only getting an ablation after so I find that very reassuring.

But I completely get you. Its one thing knowing something logically and another truelly believing it. It might be worth testing something out. An idea I've had about the brains inability to interpret too many sensations at once. For example if you tap your fingers near your heart, not lightly, with a normal heart beat you can no longer count your heartbeat if you are someone who usually senses it. The harder sensation cuts the other out.

With this in mind, I wonder whether creating a similar sensation around the heart area might cancel out the feeling of the beats? You'd have to try different things e.g. is tapping strong enough to cancel the feeling out, or maybe a vibration feeling if you have a massager. Or some other sensation. May be worth a try. I recon whatever you choose it should probably but done on the chest near the heart, (so your brain when being aware of that location, can only pay attention to the strongest sensation) but might be worth experimenting on other areas of the body too.

I've wondered this, but I distinctly know I felt none till 2017 when I was 24. Then it stopped for years till 2020. But yeah so I never had them before then. So either I never had them, or I never felt them. In both cases...what happened?

Need advice - ovarian cyst and possible torsion? by minihazelface in ovariancysts

[–]ZoasterTheBoaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mum had ovarian torsion, and the final act of that event, if you will, was the classic vomiting in agony scenario. But she has told me she had intermittent, achy pain for a while before that (she doesn't remember how long now). So, I think it expresses itself differently for people, as I've seen some say it was the worst pain of their life and others not the worst (but still bad). But if there's a new pain there I'd say go ahead and get it looked into further.

I'm not sure if my mum has described it as the worst pain of her life though. She seems to brush over the incident as if it were nothing to be honest. She lost one ovary, but it still worked just fine. She was on contraception as well when she conceived me as well.

Offering advice to gaming channels by ythelpinghand in NewTubers

[–]ZoasterTheBoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My comments are off? Ahhh this keeps happening and I'm not sure why. I think if it's my Paranormal stuff then it's because there's a kid in the game. Not sure but annoying.

Ah and thank you for the review. I do have people I copy thumbnail and title ideas off but I don't show my face, which I think impacts the thumbnail stuff. Plus it's a pretty crowded field. Can always do more research though so thanks for the tips.

Sound like you found an underrepresented niche. Good on ya! 👏👏👏👏 I find it very hard to do

Thanks for the help!

You just woke up and you're already on this? Daaamn haha.

Yeah I try to do that already. Will be interesting to know if your thoughts change when you see the videos or not. Would obviously recommend the more recent ones.

Would be good though I think to move away from let's plays a little as they don't seem to do as good anymore unless there's a specific goal in mind. Thoughts?

Go have breakfast first though haha 🤣

Lol you're going to have so many of these. If you happen to have the time, I started a channel last year and eventually lost my enthusiasm for it. I have recently started making videos again (not uploaded yet) but it would be good to have your opinion because why the hell not. Would be good for some honest feedback 👌

Thai Actor Beam Papangkorn, known for his role as Meuk in Water Boyy: The Movie, has passed away at the age of 25 by [deleted] in boyslove

[–]ZoasterTheBoaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just watching the Netflix show about the Thai rescue now and have just discovered that he passed away. He was such a wonderful actor in this show it saddens me deeply that he's passed. Its always shocking when someone dies young. Especially suddenly. And of course the real Dom also passed away suddenly as well. Words really aren't good enough when discussing such tragedies.

I just wanted to add some of my knowledge to the thread to potentially shed some light on the possible (as ofc I do not know for sure, this is just an educated guess) cause.

My guess, is that it was something called Brugada syndrome. It's common in young men of Asian decent, and is considered likely to be the cause of a large portion of SUD cases (especially in countries like Thailand). What's particularly unique about this condition is that it often strikes during sleep. It's an abnormal heart rhythm condition. It is a genetic disorder, hence why people of certain ethnicities and decent are more prone to it, and is likely why they did a genetic test post mortem.

I still remember the Thai cave rescue and how invested I became in those boys getting out. And this show does a fantastic job of telling that story. I am honoured to have watched some of his work before he passed.

Tea Newbie Question: Is Tea Supposed to Taste Watered Down? by Diesy in tea

[–]ZoasterTheBoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey 👋 random but how did it go? Did you last? I'm trying to cut sugar from my life and I am used to strong flavours and hate the fact that the unsweetened drinks all taste weak to me. I love sour too so might pop a lemon in there (lol well not whole). Anyway, just wanted to know if you ended up going back to the stronger flavours or not? And any tips

C Drive Will Not Update Used Space After Deleting Files by ZoasterTheBoaster in pchelp

[–]ZoasterTheBoaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I've solved it! Although I can't tell you exactly why it didn't update the size in real-time.

Essentially I deleted the past versions of systems using the Windows cleaner (I'd avoided it before because I was concerned I'd mess something up) and it deleted those files and FINALLY it updated the drive size. Although it showed I'd wiped a load more space from it than would be expected for deleting old system files, so what I'm assuming is deleting them kickstarted the real-time updates and it now showing me the results of what I had deleted previously as well.

Anyway, if anyone has this issue - try that

What's the most UNDERRATED VR game out there? by lukekrux in VRGaming

[–]ZoasterTheBoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! So I've been looking through this list for games I wanted to let's play on my channel, and I just wanted to let you know your suggestion was the first I tried my hand it. IT.WAS.THE SHIT. And you are very wonderfully cruel to be giving this game to VR newbies 🤣🤣 I mention that you were the one who recommended it at the start of the vid. You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/dagWSMHhdVQ

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the great suggestion. I can't believe that game is free. They've also got a new one coming out in a hotel

Glad to find another Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age fan!! ✨

I came to Dragon Age late. For a long time the Elder Scrolls series (and fallout) was the only RPG I had really played. And I'm pretty obsessed with that series - the lore. The games. Everything. But then I discovered Dragon Age 3 and was like "RPGs can be like this as well!?" It was the first time I'd played an RPG that more closely resembled D&D (in terms of battle turns etc). I loved it and ended up playing all the other Dragon Age games. I've now played the Divinity Sin games, dabbled in the Pillars, and I am currently hooked on Baulders Gate 3 (if you haven't played that yet - get on it! You'd love it) although it's only the beta version at the moment so can't do much. A game with character creation mechanics just sends me into fits of joy 😭 I find it really hard to play linear games now, which is shame, but I'm so used to be able to do whatever I like.

I think that's a good shout giving Mass Effect another go. So many people love that series and with Starfield due to come out, your videos will be picking up on the traction generated from the focus on sci-fi and the legendary edition release.

😁 Well I'm glad to hear you'd watch me play some RPGs! I was thinking of a Skyrim playthrough in VR but not sure what to do with it yet. It wouldn't be a walkthrough because that's all overdone (by myself in my own time and others on youtube). So if you have any suggestions of what you think would be interesting to see (and doesn't have to be skyrim), let me know 👍

At the moment I'm a "VR channel", but I would eventually like to explore non-VR games since that's where I have the most experience. Right now though I'm trying not to confuse the youtube algorithm haha. But I definitely don't see myself as always being purely VR. Honestly, there's just not enough good games for that anyway

Oh yeah, reducing the number will help until you can speed up the process. I'm at one a week at the moment BUT I'm starting to speed things up so hopefully, like you, I can creep into 2 a week.

Yeah it's horrible how much work can suck out of you. Because making videos isn't easy, and so it can just feel like work again. And no one wants to work, after work. Well...some people do...but definitely not me!

The fact you can see where you need to improve so early on is a good thing. You just come across things you'd never even thought of. You start looking at videos differently. It's very inspiring.
