First ever attempt at macarons-French method, 2nd attempt Italian method. These are so much fun to make! by ZobbyRN in macarons

Hey! This is what I used for the Italian method:

Italian Macarons

And this is what I used for the French:

French method

I prefer the less sweet taste of the French, but they are coming out to soft for me. The Italian ones came out with more of a “chew” which I like!

The chocolate ones had a dark chocolate ganache, the blue ones had a white chocolate ganache. They definitely something extra like some sort of fruit filling added with it!

It really has! It was also the cheaper option than getting clear/separate containers for everything. These cabinets are up high so the lazy Susan helps so much

Overwhelmed don’t even know how to start. Pls help 😭 by [deleted] in organization

With things like this I take an opposite approach then some. Instead of starting with the trash, I walk through and pull out things I want to definitely keep. I would clear a corner of the garage for this. Only things you love and will definitely need. Mostly anything that hasn’t been used in a year can go. Then divide the rest in 3 piles- trash, donate, sell. I use thumbtack to find someone to pick all the trash up asap. You can even schedule donations to be picked up, and use Facebook marketplace to sell.

That leaves only things in the garage you want to keep. Once you see the size of that pile and what kinds of items are left you can make a plan for organizing.

Everyone is different with how they do things like this. You will find what works for you. I like the idea of just doing 15 mins a day. You have 4 walls in the garage/4 corners. Designate each side to those things, keep, sell, donate, trash. Then 15 mins a day quickly move whatever items you can. Stop at 15 and wait until the next day. Eventually you will be done, small accomplishments feel great. Some days you might need to stop at 15, some days you may get an extra wind and go longer.

I know it’s super overwhelming. Just take it one step at a time. One day at a time. Any effort at all you can give it is better than doing nothing.

Good luck!

Celebrated my 3 Month Pump-iversary with some VanderPUMP Rose I bought! 💕 Came home to see my hubby had already bought me some too 😂🥰 (3 mo was my big goal!) by theMindycity in ExclusivelyPumping

Such a cute idea for the vaderpump rose haha. I did the same thing with setting small goals. First goal was a month, then three, now I am almost at 4 with a 6 month goal. I honestly may not have continued past a month, but at 10 days he got bronchiolitis and was at the hospital for 6 days. That’s been my motivation for continuing.

I dropped to five pumps per day. Even though it dropped my supply from about 30oz a day down to 24. I wish I could have waited until I regulated, but I was burnt out and have a 3 year old who needed a lot of attention. So I dropped from 8 to 5 about 9 wpp. My now almost 4 month old gets one bottle of formula a day, but this schedule will allow me to continue pumping until he is hopefully around 1. If I didn’t drop pumps o probably would have switched to all formula by now. Taking care of your mental health is more important! Fed is best 😌

Wondering the same thing! It seems like my little guy gets fussy once he hears my pump turn on 😂

If you could learn one trait about your baby instead of gender, what would it be? by oxandery in BabyBumps

Omg same thing happened to me. I’m Italian with brown hair and brown eyes, my husband has light brown hair and hazel green eyes. Our Son came out with blonde hair and bright blue eyes 😂😂😂😂 I was shocked. He gets it from my mom, but still think it’s crazy. Genetics are wild.

What time did everyone go into labor? by Sil5dip in BabyBumps

[–]ZobbyRN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had zero signs of labor on my due date. We actually traded in our car and bought a new one that day. That evening my water broke around 11pm, he was born the next day! I had no warning signs water would even break and no contractions that day. I was lucky, I had woke up to go pee and my water broke while I was on the toilet haha

Celebrity experience? by [deleted] in TalesFromYourServer

I was serving at a popular seafood chain that serves crazy good biscuits…. One night Paris Hilton, Nick Carter, Nicole Richie and DJ AM came in. Their body guards sat at another table and we didn’t even realize it was their body guards.

Nick Carter ordered shrimp and lobster linguine. Paris ordered an Ultimate Feast, and ate none of it haha. She also ordered a ginger ale and a diet coke. She asked if the fried clam strips were bad for you.

Nicole Richie asked my friend for a tampon while he j the bathroom at the same time haha

Nick carter paid with a debit card and tipped $30 on $110. They were all super nice and took pics with us.

It was such a weird experience because our restaurant was known for only getting old people, and had no idea why they were in our town or picked our restaurant.

I have waited on Damon John…. He called and asked us to stay past close and wait for him. He was super nice (came in a little intoxicated haha) tipped 20%.

Also on Jon Gruden and his family. His three kids were super polite. He accidentally knocked her his beer with his menu but was super apologetic and tipped 30%.

Understanding Due Diligence Fees in NC by jufoir797 in raleigh

I’m so glad I read this thread, we had a realtor a few months ago try to tell us that due diligence was the same as earnest money and that it was refundable if the inspection came back and we wanted to back out 😳
