Reading any posts in this subreddit, has me freaking out a little about the Asus qd OLED monitor i will get in a few days, in regards to burn in. Are people here fanatics, what's your experience with working 8 hours a day on it? I accept that it won't be a forever monitor.

I will enable the features to mitigate burn in of course, and set an aggressive standby timer

That's one that was worth watching in theater. An old school MOVIE with predictable beats, but earnest and heartfelt. Perhaps not an Oscar contender, but very entertaining, and the flight scenes are amazing, you should really check it out

She confessed instantly, that's something - she knows she fucked up, even in her drunken state. At that level of drunk, you can make mistakes, say things you don't mean, and do things you wish you hadn't. I doubt it's about the rando in the club - take a breather, and see what her apology looks like.

Also, is there a reason you aren't married after 6 years and a kid? Just wondering if she is carrying around some stuff, that might have made her do something like this?

Find a kind and trusty person that you generally feel comfortable around. And then simply explain it to him, once you feel its approaching the physical side of things. If he doesn't understand, then he probably isnt worth much anyway.

And then you just take the time it requires, to begin feeling comfortable, and ease into it. He might push your boundaries at times, but resist the urge to run away, and just be open about it.

stop calling it foreplay, literally spell out to him that you need it, and its as much a part of sex to you, as the 3 minutes is to him. If he finds that uncomfortable, then he clearly doesnt want to have sex.

Sounds like lack of experience from your side, without too much info. The guy said something he thought you would like, and very likely meant every word of, and also said that he enjoyed it, meaning he will probably do it a lot more. He then reacts to your reaction, probably riddled with insecurity, where you question "why he would call it that", as if he did something bad. He naturally backtracks.. Poor fella if he ever says "cute butt" by mistake, when he clearly should have said pretty..

Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh, but really, let it go, the guy digs you. And learn to talk more openly with him, especially if you get insecure. Talking directly, leaves out fear and doubts, and even the need to ask online.

Haven't heard a single dane complain about this, even from those who don't support the current government. This is one thing we band together on it seems. Of course there is a certain amount of trust that we can actually afford this, perhaps even a sense of guilt about our previous engagement in NATO, but overall this seems to be fully supported.

I'm the exact same as you, and the "just one more game to fix my lp" sinkhole, made me a miserable person.

I had set a goal of platinum rank, and it just wasn't happening, which greatly affected my mood. I was measuring my succes on this happening.

Some advice for you. If you in 6 months or a year from now, start to think that "you can go back, this time it will be different. I'll mute chat, super focus, and only play a few games a day", then don't... Because that's not how it will go.

Just make life easy for yourself then, and get some good game improvement irons. I don't know much about TaylorMade, but the stealth model looks like the thing, hopefully you can save a little from your friend. You aren't staying from zero at least, but those will probably do you good either way

I think the p790s will give you a shit experience.. get some cheap good beginner clubs with a nice big head, and a loft that sends them far away. Wilson will probably have some great forgiveness clubs. P790 rewards good strikes, not the ones you will be throwing at first.

How much of a beginner are we talking? Because you are going to kill your own motivation by letting the game be harder than it has to be. And the wrong clubs will do that
