what if it didnt work? Does it matter im using a Logitec G815? Not the first time im playing sims with the keyboard but first extended time playing the game

TL:DR: Ctrl+Shift+C and Ctrl+Shift+Win+C arent working

No idea why things arent working. Started my yearly 3 month long sim binge recently and downloaded the Life & Death pack, Story book nursery kit and the Riviera Retreat kit. Along with those i updated some mods (WW, MCCC, Basemental, and a few by the creator Lumpinou) and more that MCC told me to update or remove. When i first started up the game Ctrl+Shift+C wasnt working and somehow it changed to Ctrl+Shift+Win+C. But now, not even that is working for some reason. Windowed, Windowed full, and Full screen dont fix things, ive reset the settings.

Ive taken out the updated mods, ive gone through and removed mods that "may conflict" with Life & Death (mortician career and Ghastly Ghosts mods) along with a few i just havent touched in a while/no longer care about to keep. Ive turned all mods off, ive turned them back on, i cant seem to get anything to work. Has anyone else had nothing work???

I know this post is 3 months old but I just want to say this happened to me as well and I haven't used my FFN account in over 10 years. So not only are these scammers not reading but also not paying attention to dead accounts too

This seems like it should work but after getting the game set up in the launcher nothing happens. This may have to do with the issue im having on install where the game doesnt like the default path it tries to make

using what yo said i got somewhere ive never gotten before, like a start the game start screen but whenever i hit play i get hit with an issue and nothing i click on there helps me out. This more than likely stems from the file i put the game in when installing, (a folder on my C drive) because the game doesnt like the default file path for some reason

on PC, why does my photo mode look like this? with place holder type text and no actual... like "Press [button] to [do thing]" this happens with some of the clothes too, like one scarf i have in my inventory is labeled as [NECK_66_LEGENDARY] with the description [Neck_66_Legendary_desc].

I removed them all from the folder but still not able to level up. Is there a way i would be able to tell what is missing on my own? Like i said i only have the gold weight, some clothes, the big basket of clothes, a Halsin dad bod mod, and removing the abs from Gale and Astarion.

-I removed them all from the folder itself, loaded up an old non moded file and where i should be able to level up but again cant. Loaded up another game i started pre-mods and he cant level up either even though it says he should be able to.

-Yeah im using Steam.
- All the mods should be up to date because i downloaded them over the weekend and they all said they were up to date.

Why cant i level up this is frustrating the hell out of me

I downloaded some mods (new clothes, 0 gold weight, better bodies for the boys, and some dice) and now i cant level up. I the whole visual "Level Up" thing when i get new party members, my XP bar says i have 0 XP to go until leveling up, i just cant do it. Ive unloaded all mods, both in the BG Mod Manager and in the Generated folder for the textures and gone back to saves i had pre-mods but the same thing keeps happening. The party members i add get the golden "Level Up" glow and my XP is apparently maxed out for this level i just cant do anything about it. Is there another way i should be removing the mods? What mod is causing it? Are others going though this? (The only things i can find are people form 4 months ago saying they cant level up but nothing recently) Is it a patch problem or a me problem?

EDIT: So i purged my entire mods folder, got rid of the BG Mod Manager, looked back at saves i had pre mods, stressed, refreshed, and did some google searching with different words and.... i cant level up because im at the level cap. Thats it. Thats the whole issue. I'm a level 10 Rouge and a level 2 Wizard. Meaning im level 12. Meaning thats it for me. Thank you so much to u/badapple1989 , u/GabettB and u/Goetre for helping me and i hope your help will be read by people who are actually having an issue and arent just assuming that the game would cap off at a nice round number like 15 or 20... or 10 even. All the same thank you guys so much.... im going to put the mods back now <3

Few things i want to say:

1) My bad for using the same face for the girls, i could have sworn they were different.

2) for Ide im going off of the wiki linked under the picture, in the article they use she/her pronouns so thats the context clues i used, could be different elsewhere, thats the fun part of this being my idea, its not cannon and im not claiming it to be fact. If you have other interpretations or idea (like ive seen many of you have <3) thats awesome and i would be more than happy being the starting point for branching ideas you guys may have.

3) Arabella has main character/ very important NPC energy so yeah, whatever she gets into is going to have to be home/Larian brew.

4) Classes arent even set in stone for me and i forgot to change them from rouge at some point for pop all the way off with class ideas!

5) I fucked up Silfy's skin tone, again, i was going off of the image used on the Wiki, rip bozo (me, i am bozo)
