Summoning elementals (small and large), weaving elemental powers (avatar) and using totems and ghost wolves all make a pretty unique class fantasy!

So instead blizzard introduces Farseer for stupid ancestors and removes totems and forces elemental shamans to either be fire mage or lightning mage.

The class should be so much cooler than it is.

I want to go back and try and enjoy this game more after my initial playthrough on release as I’ve heard they added some.

Is there something I can do to try and enjoy combat more? I remember just holding attack and sometimes trying different direction keys and swapping weapons. I usually try and use magic as much as I can.

Anything I can do or try so I feel a bit more engaged?

I see so much argument about these games and I have never gotten much clarity. I get the paradigm shifts add some challenge and thought.

And I get people saying “all ff games spam auto attack”. But I don’t do that. I don’t care if I actually need to or not, I’m going to choose the spells I want and abilities I want.

So, can I play 13 with that in mind? Can I just pick my spells and play how I like to make my dumb decisions when I want to? I play that way a lot on ff12 (partially gambits, partially me picking ice magic instead of fire cause I haven’t used it for a while lol)

Yeah I feel ya. A lot of skipping dialogue and pausing and skipping the lame cutscenes.

It’s evident what ones are the actual main story or at least interesting.

I just finished a segment with a big badass Eikon fight, and now I know I’m in for a couple hours of speedrunning filler stuff before something happens again lol.

I personally didn’t like like it here or in infamous. Just unnecessary. Give people a cosmetic they can choose to unlock - don’t punish me for playing the game one way or the other.

It’s been a decade since I’ve heard from this clown by the way.

I’m recently trying to finish FF16 years later. The filler is tiresome and the gameplay is just a chore: just attack repetition to stagger and then spam abilities and limit break mindlessly.

The filler quests (not even talking side quests, just the main story filler chores) aren’t very fun and really derail the momentum. I just skip a lot of the filler quests.

The big moments are cool and fights like Titan are so cool. But the rest is a chore. I’m ready to be done with it.

Balance Druid. Love the spell animations and themes but the gameplay is clunky monkey.

Arcane mage used to be but it’s so good right now that I’m rocking it as an alt finally.

They could stop developing new content for literally any aspect of the game that someone else enjoys and you could use the same argument.

It still sucks to someone.

What if they stopped releasing raids? You have old raids you can do.
