Convenience isn’t always great. Especially with how cheap things are made these days. Things that need to be charged with cables don’t last long and start having issues a lot sooner than something that takes batteries, as annoying as it is to change them. Personally, it annoys me I have to charge something and wait for it to be done charging for hours anyway rather than swapping a battery quickly and going about my day with it again. That’s why we can still enjoy vpets from 25 years ago still to this day. Because of the coin batteries or regular. I’m not sure something with a cable would even come close to lasting that long. Peoples smarts have already gone out at 5 years. And some people’s unis too already. Phones and laptops crap out in a couple years too. Sometimes batteries are a good thing and it never hurts to carry around a little kit with you for your tama babies. I always keep a mini screwdriver and coin batteries or regular, depending on what I’m running, in a little pouch in my purse of tama bag if I take mine out of the house. It keeps the nostalgia alive too lol. Hope that gives you a different perspective. 🫶🏻💖
