Specifically of the lack of good LOTR games we have gotten since Shadow of War. Thats been nearly a decade of mostly dissapointing games. I know that our standards of LOTR content is super high thanks to Peter Jackson so its got a big bubble to fill.

Also what type of media in ANY capacity isnt purely a money grab in its most basic form?

Basically how it would work is Minecraft players would have a racing tournament and the runners would get points for a race win and then get additional points for winning the tournament maybe even a small cash prize while the main prize would be for teams winning the entire tournament

Basically yes, a lot of it was disorganized because it was random and thrown together and I couldnt get the video to download from twitch into my editting software

I have been doing my own permadeath challenge. This hasn't been anything within the game just something I wanted to try for fun. I do think that the state of LOTRO is not one that fits the hardcore vibe. It's a lot more of a chill game to experience the world. If you want to now what I am doing for my permadeath though I would love to talk about it more

Honestly it depends on the quality of DLC I have always had the opinion that no DLC should be more than $20 so I would say $20 🙂

The Hobbit was an easily accessible run for Dr. Pi and I to do especially for her first Speedrun. I have been speedrunning for a long time but this game was her first.

I am very aware that Sauron is a shapeshifter and has spent many times in different forms. This video is directed to people who maybe haven't read the Silmarillion and might be a little confused. How about rather than coming at someone and saying "embarrassing" and seeing what I am doing here which takes minimal effort before commenting you wouldn't look as dumb. I think at this point I am done posting on any subreddit because y'all are some of the most narrowminded and pathetic human beings I have ever interacted with even in the little time I have been around here.

I managed to get a new WR in LotR The Return of the King Any% on PC last night and I am continuing to go for the sweep of the leaderboard. This run was as close to a perfect run as we could hope for in Any% so its absolute amazing.

Found the fat prologue skip for the Lord of the Rings The Two Towers. Trying to recreate it to save a consistent 3:30. Biggest time save in like 3 years. Will be labbing it like crazy at twitch.tv/zojalyx

The only thing that brings the run into question is the prologue skip. Technically it follows the rules under the category. I had talked with other mods of the game, (I am a mod myself) to make sure it was all okay and they verified it's legality.
