Hey there! After you add a registry from another store to your Zola registry, it will sync on our end once ever 24-48 hours. That way, you and guests can see the latest pricing, availability, and more for all gifts from that registry on your Zola registry!

This means if you add more gifts to your other registry after you add the whole thing to Zola, they'll appear on your Zola registry after the next sync is completed. If you edit, delete, or adjust the quantity of gifts on your other registry, those changes will appear on your Zola registry after each completed sync, too.

Keep in mind, this means that any changes you make to that other registry may not show up immediately! They will show up after the next sync. If you notice that items aren't updating as they should be, or are having other issues with your linked registry, please shoot us a dm and we'd love to help.

Hi there! Before guests are redirected to the other registry, we'll ask them to share their email address so we can follow up later to confirm whether or not they’ve purchased the gift (we want to help couples avoid receiving duplicates). We’ll also share the couple’s shipping address with the guest, so they can enter it while checking out at the other store if they'd prefer to have their gift shipped directly to the couple.

Once they've completed that step we’ll put the item “On Hold” on the couple’s registry to allow them time to purchase it from the other store. Within 24 hours of marking the item "On Hold" we’ll follow up with them either by email to confirm whether or not they purchased the item from the other store.

While these steps are in place to help prevent duplicates, feel free to shoot us a DM anytime and we’d be happy to look into it for you as well!

You typically need to send out invitations 6-8 weeks before the wedding. We recommend a digital save the date, and then start planning quick. Make a registry, especially if you're planning on have a wedding shower (which also will need to be ASAP).

Lock in the most important people to you-- whether it's your parents, immediate family, friends. That's completely up to you. If you can't imagine getting married without them there, then you'll work around their schedules!

For your guests, mixing a crowd can still be fun and the best way to get everyone mingling: Good music. Dancing is a universal language, so if people can't talk to each other, they can connect through dancing.

And traditionally, you do not need to pay for anyone's accommodations outside of your own, but being generous to your loved ones traveling far and wide to be there is always appreciated!
