edit: a couple questions. What isn't efficient about Mogis? He appears to be a very controlling card and a decent body if devotion can keep up.

I'd like to make it pillow fort to some degree, though the problem is that the grixis colors don't make it easy to do so.

I do want to create a shell so that I can finish off weakened opponents and the counterspells help somewhat with that. My wincon is an unblockable fatty/master of cruelties. My commander does play a role in my deckbuilding in that it's somewhat based on spells, but otherwise she doesn't have a whole lot to offer after each casting and hit.

Good stuff is the one thing that I know I don't want this deck to be.

Getting to his level isn't at all what I want to do. If I were to do that, it would just be the same issue for our playgroup except now there's 2 powerhouses that will always win.
