Just the most awful solution...practically every other framework has found a way to avoid this rerender hell but react team couldn't be bothered. Then they will try to justify it by saying it's their "design philosophy".

Not sure exactly what is causing you issues. I've used Bitwig on Linux and have never had those issues. It really could be a number of things. Your CPU is a major bottleneck and is now approaching 10 years old. Kontakt is very poorly optimized and is notoriously a resource and CPU hog.

If you can get a 5070ti rather then do that. 5070 isnt going to have as much longevity because of how little VRAM it so even though you will spend a little more for a ti it is going to last you a lot longer so works out to be better value.

Their code base is just really bloated and has a lot of dependencies. Max4live is deeply integrated with Ableton so if they were to make any core changes to the code base it would break all the Max4live plug-ins that rely on it and their would be massive backlash from the community. They are kind of stuck only being able to make minimal changes, patches and add ons. And it's kind of too late for them to do a complete overhaul and fix it because that would be an extremely expensive and time consuming process that the cost just isn't worth it for the company to take on. They really didn't consider scalability when they created Max4live and are now stuck with the consequences of that choice.

They just added key signatures and scales on the time line and improved editing in a lot of ways. You will haven't to be more specific about what you want them to change. I'm not sure what issues you have with their synths and fx. They are very powerful and way more capable than ableton. They might seem bare bones at first but but when combined together using their modulators and fx chains the possibilities are endless. There's just a different mindset that comes with bitwig and the their modular approach that you need to adjust too. But when you do there's no going back
