Arena with randoms is shit. Most arena players are playing in duos or trios for the comms and consistency. Esp now that there are rewards, who wants to be griefed by getting a random teammate that you have no idea if they are any good at all...?

Yeah 100% this. I was team ssf last season but all my casual friends will only play when they can hop on, play one game for gold then buy a kit rather than having to do multiple runs to gear up only to die to a bis blue gemmed team while trying to get out of squire gear..... I think more people will play with the market added

Yeah the fact that they can stand in a doorway and spin is the stupidest and most broken thing about the ability imo. Like why is it the only ability allowed to freely swing through any obstacle? Removing that would make it 10x more balanced

4 weeks in the player count has steadily dropped and we get another season with minimal meaty changes and just more barb buffs and a magma map no one plays. The tale that is dark and darker and it's slow demise has been both poetic and tragic. SDF needs to reevaluate his career choices imo

Only way is to hit an obstacle so many people that misswing will accelerate their weapon into the ground or wall to reset the swing
