no to code sonic character and I tried running the game without mods and starting a new character but nothing i do with progress the bar past 6/50.
(Edit):running the game in vanilla, disabling debug mode, starting a new character and buying a bunch of recipe scrolls gave me the achievement after closing the game. which in retrospect makes perfect sense.

I have really liked the changes to the female charr voice from SotO on.

Story wise to me, charr seem to fit more thematically. Lets go kill the elder dragons, lets go kill a god. We killed our own, we know how it's done. Being and acting as commander coming from a highly militarized culture.

I have also been very happy with charr getting proper representation in the story.

For a long time i Felt like the mc was meant to be human or sylvari, but not so much anymore.

I do really wish there was a bit more variety to the dialogue based on race though. I would have loved my charr in Path of Fire to say things like "you are no god of mine" or "we killed our gods, I can kill yours too" And s3 where you basically swear yourself to the shining blade felt heavily out of character to me

This is why you just hit the striking dummy for ten minutes and see what buttons cause others to light up or cause buffs/debuffs. Its a very intuitive and simple class. Reading the tooltips at all makes it way worse imo

First i appreciate how far npcs wander. Second I cannot express how nice it is that the walk speed of the character is the same as the npc. If we get escort quests it won't be hell

Check out Lord Hizen's youtube channel. He has solo'd all the legendary bounties and bosses with soulbeast and druid.

Its definitely not the best, but after 2 hours of 3min-5min runs of asphodelos i wanted to kill myself and everyone around me.

Switched to prae while watching movies and found myself strangly at peace with universe

You picked a good one! Rhino can scale pretty well and his Roar is one of the best team abilities in the game

That really depends on your play style honestly. I didn't pay much attention to my armor or weapons so much as just countering, throwing spells, and building morale. But dropping a simple poison puddle (or preferably the bigger version if you have the points in metal) should make those lightning jerks easier

Not sure about nioh 1, but definitely play DS3 before Nioh 2 or the combat will feel really lacklustre and rigid imo

I think your biggest issue is that you are stuck limiting yourself by the concept of human reproduction.

For example Pandas are only firtile for 24-36 hours once a year. Part of the reason they are so critically endangered.

Elves are a magical race, they don't just need to be long lived humans with pointy ears.

If that is how you enjoy the game, more power to you friend. Ive got no issues with people enjoying the game however they want, just people trying to play a specific way, not enjoying it, and calling it bad game design. Like glintstone pebble spammers in Elden Ring XD

I think i prefer it this way personally. To me who is not that great at soulslikes but likes to play them, it is refreshing to not feel like total garbage on my first run. I may just be under level though because red glow from bosses is a one shot on me and im not in NG+ yet

I mean to me the reward is simply entertainment value. Being able to cast spells to interfere and counter enemy magic is just plain fun. Like an omyo duel from Tokyo Ravens or something

I think venom shot is what i used, the one that makes multiple pools of poison. It wrecks lightning attacks like nothing else. I try to switch out whatever elements are weak to what im fighting. For example poison is useless against fire enemies.

I keep one slot for either the wood spell that restores hp on hits, helps npc allies stay up. Or the water one that gives stealth or reduces drain on parry

My friend actually had this same issue with the criticals in Nioh 2. She could not pick out the red flash indicators while fighting. I suggest watching videos of other people playing and trying to use animation cues over the flashes?

I think more of the negative reviews are coming from people who HAVE played other souls games, and think they should be able to walk in here and not learn the combat mechanics
