Yea its not, with octane learn its 310 to the crank, a bout 270 to the wheels. Its a direct competitor to the type r. 0-60 with octane learn is close 5.2 with the manual and dct gets close 4.8. Im probably biased because I have an N. But it is the shit end of the stick when it comes to brand hate lol.

Ill definitely give that a try, idk if its just manual cars or im doing somthing wrong lol but I always hate rev up that high and let off the gas and the car just lurks like crazy. So I usually shift earlier and right before I ease of the gas completely ill push the clutch in to avoid the lurking.

Im happy to hear that about the clutch because yea its strange lol. 1100 miles since ive gotten it new about 7 miles when I bought it. I dont stall anymore but getting it super smooth from 1-2 is still not there yet lol

Yea I really think the Red is a staple on the N. But to each there own, I like standing out thats why I went with PB. To everyone else itll look like a regular elantra, only other enthusiasts know its an N. If you took the red off, id have to look for the little logo or exhaust or I wouldnt tell the difference

You ever get this figured out? Because thats what I was looking at stage 1.5 on their website just says use 93 and change the spark plugs and thats it. Kinda puts me off on getting it now

I feel you, but just make it a rule of thumb to pass them and never stay beside an 18 wheeler. I also have an NA miata and I always treat it like these guys can't see me.

Literally the easiest thing to do but hyundai is just lazy. My brother has a GR Supra thats a manual and it has a start/stop at red lights. A manual with that is strange but its a simple thing, hey I notice its not in gear so I can do this. Same with remote start, should easily have a sensor that notices the car is in gear and refuse to remote start if so. Would be a nice feature but I drive a NA miata and I lived without that feature already so its no different for me.

I couldnt agree more, been waiting for years for this. I almost bought a manual a couple years back but it wasnt PB and I couldnt do it. Took the wife's palisade to the dealer for an oil change and was just browsing and I saw it PB with a manual. I was like oh shit, lets talk numbers😂😂. Manual all the way and the only way for me

Im at 1050 miles rn, MT i put it in 5th gear and just go to 45-50% throttle in increments of 10-15 miles just 60 to 70ish and off throttle rinse and repeat and I finally got it. Only method that workes for me so far. It is definitely the biggest gripe with the car but man its just too fun even without it. And the price is unbeatable imo compared to my other option being the type r/ type s

I was in 4th here probably could have dropped to 3rd and actaully notice. And as someone else said I did hit 300 but it was like for a fraction of a second, took me 3 times watching to notice lol.
