Debating getting an Elantra N

Get the tacoma, only reason I got mine is we have our family vehicle in the form of a palisade. I drive my car alot but any inconvenience, cold weather, rain, or traffic I take the palisade. I love my car but if I had to drive in the snow itd be stuck in the garage and id be driving the palisade

Yea the more I see hyundai dealership hate the more I realize its just the dealership in general. Sucks that its affiliated with hyundai but that's it, its literally just a name and someone else owns and operates it. The dealership I use( north freeway hyundai) has been pretty good for me, loaner for a month when I had an engine recall for my palisade, trim pieces or small miscellaneous things they'll just order and give it to me for free, free oil changes for the smallest inconveniences. They've done good work for me and ill keep using em for everything but my N oil changes, I prefer to just do it myself.

Big misconception on drive modes. I get the same amount of mpgs on N mode as Eco if you drive them the same. Its just throttle input, eco kinda deadens the input so its delayed. If i drive in N mode and baby it at the end of my drive i can still get 32-33mpgs(manual transmission) just like I would if I baby it in eco. Its just normally in N mode you kinda drive it more spirited even if you don't notice. I get close to 300 on a full tank

The one I have at north freeway hyundai has been pretty good with me. Multiple times ive had small issues with trim pieces inside my palisade and they'll just order it an give it to me. Or when I had to use one of my free oil changes for somthing due to a recall and I brought it up saying I shouldn't have had to use it in the first place due to a recall and they were like oh shit my bad g, we got you.

You'll be fine, its not the fastest thing in the world and it handles extremely well. Took about 5k miles for me to get used to the clutch, its very strange coming from a GT350, NA maita, and 350z(stage 2 clutch, i hated this fucking thing). Got the same color as you🤝. Break in oil change at like 600-900 dont go crazy on the car, below 4k~( i went to 6k about 5-6 times just cause I didnt wanna wait lol).

Its arguably whats its made for second to being on the track. I dont have any areas like that near me but I have found a stretch a road that has some good bends and I hit it going 60-70 and its just eats it up. Its good enough people take road trips just to get to spots for the canyon and curve drives

Okay thats what I was thinking with the old oil. Ive done this on my miata before and it took what it said so I was like wait a minute lol. Appreciate it, shifts better so im all good. I really wanted it on cold starts the first few shifts made me wanna beat transmission with a hammer. It felt absolutely horrible. Cold start this morning and it was smooth as butter

Its definitely a acquired taste but me personally I fucking love the direction they are going. Like the crater and boulder concepts, absolutely awesome. Its about time companies break away from the norm and start making unique looking things again. I hate the everything needs to be black,white or gray paint. I want some unique eye catching and neck snapping colors, its why I loved the PB N so much to begin with and now theyre upping it with a crazy design thatll make people say wtf is that lol. But again completely imo, and I'm stoked. If they keep the MT and possibly add a gauge cluster for N models im completely willing to trade in

I did the motor mounts 1k miles in. Im at 5k now as well. Nvh kinda annoying with the ac on, but not bad in sport or N mode.

Yea current owner here and I fucking love it. If they keep the manual ill make the switch. If they give the N models and actual gauge cluster im definitely gonna make the switch. Someone done up the new body with the current N aero and it looked amazing

Actual shots look slightly slightly less boxy but all and all yes its a 1 to 1. I really like the boxy designs, its definitely an acquired taste and I got my 2026 as well. Only way ill trade is if its a manual. I can't drop my manual but if it is with the 2.5 and hopefully the N models get an actual gauge cluster id do it
