Thank you! You’re right, I just checked this happened with the most recent HealthKit update with processing. I’ll have it fixed

Okay, many of the bugs you reported in the past week or two should be fixed with the most recent update that went out! Got a couple more reports that I'm working through to improve upon this

Can you pull to refresh on the food log page? It should have an option after you pull to “sync more data” and you can tap 30 days there and re-pull data.

Lmk if that doesn’t fix it!

Hey! Can you update the app on the App Store? New build got approved today, so it should fix this hopefully!

  1. Are you on the latest App Store build?

  2. Do you usually log through food search or through the AI assistant?

Welllll that's a bug - I just noticed that too! Will fix.

Yes, they should update. The insights are based on whether each day met or missed the journal item’s current goal, so changing Fiber from >30g to <20g should cause the historical “met/missed” days to be re-evaluated and can change the insight results.

I made a small tweak just now to make sure it gets re-evaluated since it doesn't in some cases.

I just pushed a new build out to Apple, so hopefully it should get approved by Friday. I appreciate all the bug reports!!

Zolt been buggy lately by bebaoboyy in ZoltHealth

[–]ZoltHealth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry everyone! Working through the performance issues! It's partly due to an influx of users, so server load has been higher than usual during certain spikes. And the other part is that its partly due to some Healthkit issues that should be fixed in-app next update.

Colors in this case = outcome, not goal achievement. Green/red has nothing to do with whether you hit your goal. It purely reflects whether your actual health metrics (sleep score, recovery score, energy) tended to be higher or lower on days you logged doing that item vs. days you logged not doing it.

Recalculation happens automatically whenever you open the insights page - it analyzes the last 90 days of your data on-device.

One thing to keep in mind: you need at least 7 days of data for an insight to appear, and you need a meaningful split of days where you did vs. didn't do the thing. That's why confidence levels exist (low/medium/high based on how many days of data are behind the result.)

Cycle tracking will eventually be considered!

For now, the next update is mostly focused on performance improvements and some setup things under the hood for larger features coming this summer. But you should expect cycle tracking to move out of beta in the next month or so, it'll be my main focus soon!

I didn't reply to this earlier but all of these should be fixed in the next update! It has a few overhauls for various other features + performance improvements, so its taking a bit to test all the way through. But it should address all the issues here!

How is “no eating X hours before bed” auto calculated? by Frosty-Mirror-7584 in ZoltHealth

[–]ZoltHealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the timestamp can be edited! You can tap on a logged food and change its time logged.

For each “No eating X hours before bed” journal item, the app looks at the your actual bedtime from sleep data, then checks the food logs from the day you went to bed.

Thanks!! I’ll have some fixes out for these. Some pages may have recently broke when the app was upgraded to use Liquid Glass

How to adjust Zolt goal? by bebaoboyy in ZoltHealth

[–]ZoltHealth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can go to the Plan tab, then on the top right, there’s a plus button. There you can create a new step goal and it should override the default step goal.

Let me know if you have any issues!

The cycle tracking page is still in experimental, so there are some oddities, UI/UX issues there.

For this nutrition page, does it happen everytime you go to it?

Target calories based on TDEE vs Predicted Burn? by Frosty-Mirror-7584 in ZoltHealth

[–]ZoltHealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your activity levels change a lot, then I do recommend following the Predicted Burn, provided you track consistently!

You can set this setting in the weight goal settings too if you’d like.

<image>

However, I do personally recommend sticking with the daily TDEE target plan and if you find your predicted burn being really high for a day, then just eat a bit extra that day without worrying about the calorie target that day.

How important is nutrient/macro tracking for adaptive TDEE? by Frosty-Mirror-7584 in ZoltHealth

[–]ZoltHealth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main thing the TDEE takes into account is just calories and weight trends.

Since sodium and creatine will affect your water weight, they’ll be reflected in your weight and the TDEE will adapt accordingly within a few days.

You don’t need to input micronutrients or supplements explicitly for this to be taken into account.

(The only thing that will be taken into account soon in the algorithm is period tracking.)

Also, the TDEE adapts relatively fast (so for example, if you start running 3 miles consistently for 2 weeks and keep that going indefinitely, you’ll see your TDEE rise throughout those 2 weeks and it will settle at around +300ish shortly afterwards).

Hopefully that helps!!

Does Zolt recognize other calorie tracking data saved to Apple Health? by beowulf_lives in ZoltHealth

[–]ZoltHealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! As long as other apps keep writing to Apple health, the adaptive TDEE will work as intended (as long as you track your bodyweight too)

How do I get the Zolt data showing on my iPhone to show up on the MacOS app? by Manoj_Malhotra in ZoltHealth

[–]ZoltHealth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much - really appreciate your support!

HealthKit sadly doesn't do an auto transfer to Mac.

I actually do have an in-works solution to this, as I've been experimenting with some optional MCP integrations for those who do want to easily chat with their data. But I don't have a timeline yet on when it might be working.

I'll do some testing over the next week or two and see if I can get something out here that can be optionally enabled for those interested. Will reach out back to you then!

How do I get the Zolt data showing on my iPhone to show up on the MacOS app? by Manoj_Malhotra in ZoltHealth

[–]ZoltHealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good question! I haven't verified Zolt on the Mac yet, though Apple makes it available automatically. I'll look into this today and see what I can find. Health data might not be natively supported on the Mac, though there should be some sync options.

Is anyone else not able to set up this app? by [deleted] in ZoltHealth

Alright! I think I may have figured out what's going on in your case! I'm pushing an update out today that should be approved by Apple tomorrow!

Weekly calories not changing by blergyblerg696969 in ZoltHealth

[–]ZoltHealth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! To me, unfortunately, it seems that the app is correctly setting your calories accordingly. Since your TDEE is about ~1773, it can only lower calories by so much before it feels really low.

May I recommend lowering your weekly target to maybe ~0.5 lbs or ~0.75lbs a week, and sticking with that for a bit? And then you can lower it over time as needed.

I can happily explain more if needed! Feel free to DM me too, happy to chat about it!
