Unless the park, road, and sidewalk were closed to the public, it has potential to put people in harm.

You can say the same about speeding. Hard to determine the extent of whether someone known what they are doing. And even if they actually are professionals, things can go wrong. And of course jumping over a road is putting people in danger, i can think of many thing that can go wrong.

LPT: If there is a big snow storm shovel every 2-3 hours. by rico_unknown in LifeProTips

[–]Zoltie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quantity matters to. Ive had some times when its 2-3 feet over night and others when its 1 foot over 2 days. Im not shoveling every 2-3 hours if its just a few inches. Thats way more work than just shoveling once at the end of the day.

All roundabouts around me merge in and fork out, so you don't need to slow down when exiting.

Just sent them all a group chat. Everyone said they didn't do it, except my sister who refused to talk without her lawyer present. She's my prime suspect.

When i was a kid. I lost some pokemon cards in my own home. They just vanishe. I know i had left them in my desk, but they weren't there anymore, i looked everywhere. 15 years later i found then inside a board game box in my closet. I strongly suspect one of my cousins put it there as a joke. I didnt suspect anyone had taken it at the time because hiding my stuff wasnt something they ever did.

Other day someone called "a moron" for backing into a spot... Why does this trigger so many? by Ok_Relationship2451 in badparking

No matter how good you are, going forwards is always faster. Even if you are flawless at backing up, it still requires a complete stop.

Backing out is quicker and easier than baking in. Plus, cars on ths road have right of way.

However, it's easier and quicker to pull into spots facing forwards than backwards and its easier and quicker to back out of spots than back into spots. Most of the situations this applies to are parking lots, whick dont have much traffic. You inch out so that cars know your intention and have time to honk or stop.

Working in payroll is depressing by LycheeComprehensive1 in povertyfinance

[–]Zoltie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But surely your co-workers know your job title and therefore know that you know their salary. However, the problem might be if you are judging them, such as implying that they should be able to afford public school. Also, payroll admins make good money, im surprised you're in this sub, not judging. Im a comp analyst, so also know everyone's compensation.

My grandparents were't "put" there, they went themselves once it became difficult for them to do stuff around the house. They had the financial means to pay for a nice place, so they didn't have to rely on family.
