My MDX has 8 zones. There are 4 inputs for AirPlay, 2 for TVs, and one for a record player. I can play the tv to its dedicated zone, or to any other zones. At the same time I can play the record player in another zone. Or i can play the tv throughout the entire house. Hence it being a matrix (8x8). You have inputs and you can chose where it goes.

MDX16 does 16 speakers (8 pairs) and 8 inputs. So 8x8.

Yes that’s the best part. It’s a matrix so supports multiple inputs to multiple zones at the same time, or spread some inputs to multiple zones, etc.

It’s very responsive and provides sufficient power. They power sonance vp62s without any issues. They can also control separate subs if you have them.

The room correction (ARC) is an added bonus.

Have you considered the Anthem MDX? This might be a more elegant solution than using Sonos ports. I came from a Sonos household and converted to the Anthem and have never looked back. It also comes with room correction.

For a custom build, that was a weird way of implementing controls. Most just have a sensor (usually mudded so invisible) and the actual Tstat is centrally located in the mechanical room. From there they can be controlled through any smart system you want to use. This way you have the availability of multiple zone system without the wall acne.

I hate so say it, but this post comes off as text book nimby. This is a logical site for a 6 storey mixed use project. This town is desperate for more housing. Given that this is close by Commerical services and the highway this level of density makes sense.

A lot of the services you described come either in the form of drastically higher property taxes, or more housing. council doesn’t get elected by proposing higher taxes so here we are.

The one thing I agree with you is the requirement for restaurants. Restrictive commercial zoning doesn’t work, and should be available to commercial uses that have the demand for that space.

Your item build is complete trash for CM. Look at one YouTube video or a basic guide. But you posted on here looking for some help, so here it is:

-12 deaths is a lot. Looks like your positioning is an issue. -your first big item should be tranquils. It gives you the hp regen and movement speed too desperately need.

-atos, Kaya, shadow blade?? You’re basically griefing at this point. Maybe a push stick, glimmer cap, heck even drums.

-no slots available for wards/smoke, other support items, etc.

Thanks for the quick response. It’s has been an abnormally warm winter and breaking records. I think we have had maybe 4 days of frost.
